Chapter 75: misunderstandings

♣Zack's POV♣

"Luana my love please believe me,I don't know how everything happened" I pleaded trying to touch her hand but she moved away.

"Zack I trusted you, you promised you'd never hurt me" she cried.

"Luana please believe me" I pleaded.

"Believe you,I would have found it easy to just believe you and forget if it was just someone telling me but how can I believe you when I saw you with my very own eyes, you were in bed not with any other woman but your best friend's girlfriend,how low can you go" she boomed.

"Luana you know I think of Amanda as a sister how could you possibly think I'd be having an affair with her" I asked. She wiped her tears.

"Zack I have bared witness just how your relationship with Amanda is, all this while I hated myself for thinking you had special feelings for Amanda, you always prioritize her, you go to great extents to make her happy, you always flirt with her but today you proved me right" she shouted all in my face.

I kinda started getting angry, why was all of that such a big deal. Not even hunter the one obsessed with Amanda minded the way I behaved with her, I made it clear to luana that Amanda was just my best friend nothing more. I loved Amanda a lot as a friend and I was deeply in love with luana,they were both important aspects in my life.

I took a deep breath.

"My love-"

"Just stop it Zack, what ever you say I won't believe you"

"Luana I swear on my life I didn't sleep with Amanda, someone is framing us" I explained.

"Oh really and who's that, Zack I'm not dumb don't try to make up stupid excuses for what you did" she cried.

"I'll prove it to you that I have not cheated on you" I assured then walked out of her room.

I was so confused, I didn't know how things turned out this way, how did I wind up in bed with Amanda. I didn't drink anything that night apart form a glass of juice.

I started thinking back to who I was with before I drunk the juice.

"Mandie" I thought aloud.

I took my car keys then drove all the way to her house which was like an hour's drive from my house. When I got there, her Mom was the one who answered the door.

"Are you a friend or boyfriend" she asked.

"Friend ma'am,just a friend" I explained. She stared at me then smiled.

"Come in, mandie is in her room" she explained.

I walked in then she led me to the living room,I took a seat I was too anxious to look around the room. A few minutes later mandie walked in the room putting on her pajamas.

"I'll leave you two,I have to go to the market" Mandie's mom stated before walking out the door.

"Zack this is surprising what are you doing in my house" she asked sitting next to me.

"The real question is why are you still in your pajamas" I replied.

"I'm not going out today,so how can I help you" she asked.

"Something happened, this morning I woke up in a hotel room bed laying next to Amanda and we were both naked. The worst part is Hunter and luana walked in on us" I explained making her eyes go wide.

"What,you and Amanda how is that possible" she asked looking confused.

"I don't know but all this is turning our lives up side down, luana doesn't even want to see me right now. Please mandie what happened last night" I asked.
