Chapter 23: Old times

"Coffee" I offered and he nodded.

"Thanks what time is it" Zack asked sitting down.

He was basically in nothing but his boxers.

"Uh 4pm" I said handing him his coffee.

"I slept in sorry" he said and I shook my head.

"No it's fine, you slept like at 3am so it's fine" I said taking a sip of my coffee.

"You didn't go back to sleep" he asked.

"No,I wasn't sleepy" I said simply making Zack give me the knowing look.

"Another nightmare" he asked.

"Yes" I answered.

"We could go see a therapist again" he offered drinking the coffee.

"That's not necessarily, you know back in Los Angeles when she slept next to me,I actually slept till like 5am" I said making his eyes go wide a bit.

"Why didn't you tell me. It's great, that means all you need to have a good nights rest is laying next to her" Zack said and I nodded.

"That's why I want her back, she really completes me" I said making him smile.

"Then you'll have to stop sleeping around" he said making me roll my eyes.

"I know that's another reason she left, that's why I haven't touched any woman from the time we got here" I said finishing my coffee.

"You're whipped man,anywhere what time are we going to the cinema" he asked excited.

"Around 7pm,the movie will start at 8" I answered making him nod.

"This is going to be exciting" he said with a chuckle.

"I have to take a shower" I said walking out of the kitchen.

I made my way to my room and took a very long shower. I was excited on seeing by beloved. The real reason I never really wanted to drag her back was because I was confused.

I knew I was in love with her, that was obvious but what I didn't understand was what was happing to me. Never have I and I mean never ever have I ever let myself get that close to a woman before.

When I was with Amanda, she drove me out of my mind, she tore down all my walls and she didn't even have to try. She had this strange and strong effect on me that I couldn't explain.

All I knew was that she completed me,when ever I was with her I never needed anything else. I wanted, no, no, I needed her in my life and I was going to make sure that came true.

It was going to be the anniversary of the day we met every soon. It was like two weeks away and that was when I wanted to take her back. Wouldn't it be romantic to reunite on the anniversary of the day we met and when I gave her,her very first ever kiss.

When I was done, I dressed up in black jeans, a black t-shirts then put on a grey sweater and some Nike's.

I jogged downstairs only to see, Zack in blue jeans, a black t-shirts and white vans. He was putting on a black cap which covered his face as he continued typing away on his phone.

"You ready" I asked making him snap his head to me.

"Yeah, I was just checking my social media accounts" he said as he stood up.

"If you'd like, you could stay back I don't want you to trouble yourself because I'm dragging you in this" I said making him chuckle.

"But, I want to do this,you need your best friend by your side and besides I want to see Amanda even if it's for a while" he said making me give him a nod.
