Chapter 49: Crush

♣ Zack's POV♣

When I woke up, I walked to my bathroom then took a shower then proceeded to making myself breakfast. I was so bored being there alone and I wasn't in the mood to invite one of my girls over. Life without Amanda was so boring even more without Hunter.

I had been calling hunter all morning but his phone was off so was Amanda's. I put in my suit then drove to the office.

As I was driving to my office I got a call from mandie.

"Hey mandie what's up" I asked when I answered the phone.

"Have you talked to Amanda, I've been trying to call her but her phone is off" she complained.

"I know, I've been trying to call them as well. I'm sure they didn't want to be disturbed that's why they switched off their phones, I mean their last night was their special night toge"I assured.

" I think you are right anyway once you hear from them call me"he ordered.

"I will, I have to go I just arrived at work" I stated then hang up.

I parked my car then got into the elevator and went straight to my office where I found a cup of coffee waiting for me. I sat behind my desk and took a sip from the coffee, it was really nice.

"Good morning sir" luana greeted entering my office.

She was putting on a black pencil skirt and a pink blouse and paired the look with some flats. Her hair was tied into a neat bun,she applied light make up.

I have to admit she looked really beautiful in that outfit. She averted her gaze on the floor as I continued staring at her features. I snapped out of it then cleared my throat.

"Good morning Luana, you look really beautiful today" I complimented making her blush.

"Thank you sir" she replied slowly.

"What's on my agenda today" I asked. She sat down then began reading from her phone.

" you have to meet a client for shipping at 11Am then you have a lunch date with a Mr Smith at 1PM his a client Sir and someone called and said you have to sigh on some goods leaving the country" she read.

Well all of that stuff she said, she didn't even know what it really was. It looked like my day was booked with Mafia business, how fun that meant I wouldn't get stuck in boring meetings with wanna be shareholders. Yes H&Z  also dealt with mafia business, no one really knew some stuff we did in the company was illegal, not even most of the stuff. The only stuff who knew where mine and Hunter's men.

"Alright" I stated laying back on my chair.

"Sir is everything alright, you seem worried" she asked.

"Yes everything is OK" I assured but I was actually getting worried about hunter and Amanda.

"Mr Craver's PA was inquiring about Mr Craver's return, is he reporting today" she asked.

"No he's on leave for now" I answered.

"Alright sir if that's all I'll take my leave" she stated. I nodded,shortly after she left my office.

Just then my phone began to ring, I looked at the caller ID and sighed when I saw it was hunter video calling me. I answered, he had a grin on his face.

"I was so worried asshole,you didn't call to say you arrived safely then you switched off your phone" I scolded.

"I didn't want anyone to disturb us last night" he commented.
