I was about to speak when Richard suddenly covered my mouth as we hid in the corner. I quizzically looked at Richard when I heard footsteps echoing in our direction. The vicinity was dark, and because of that, one of the uninvited guests used a flashlight to roam around. And luckily, we weren’t exposed.
“Daga lamang po ‘yon, Ma’am Karina.” It was a baritone voice. I curiously looked where the light is coming from and realized that ‘Karina’ was Nurse K’s real name.
After confirming the man’s statement, they immediately exited the Daedalus’ Labyrinth. We waited for five minutes before going out of the hiding place.
“This maze was made by Alvarez. It was built as a hiding spot for the kings if Alvarez Family weren’t exiled,” He explained. We were cautiously walking in the Madow, “At dinala kita sa lugar na ‘yon dahil may pagkain sila ro’n.”
I looked at him with my puzzled eyes when we arrived in front of the Celestial Kingdom. He was gesturing that I should open the biometrics security of the door.
We locked every entrance and exit in the Celestial Kingdom before we felt at ease.
“What the fuck?” He exclaimed.
“I am Amethyst. Hunter’s well-known shadow.” He smirked upon hearing my introduction.
He even inspected the guns if they are still working or not. Richard suddenly lifted his head and roamed his sight around, “The Zodiacs are really damn lucky. Why do you even have your own living room?
“I heard that Hallie and Austin were actually tied to each other. Imagine magtatabi sila sa higaan nang palihim—”
“Keep dreaming, moron.” Austin might be like that, but I don’t think that Hallie would allow him to sleep in the same bed with her.
