Nag-inat ako pagkatapos masend ang new update sa blog ko. It was about my latest quick trip out of the city. Most of my content sa travel blogs are about enjoying places na hindi pa gaanong napupuntahan ng tourists and of course, budget friendly lang.
Preferably pag umaalis ako, nagcocommute ako at hindi ako gumagastos sa accomodation. Ano ang essence ng trip kung pipiliin ko lang din maghotel at kumain sa restaurants. The diversity of places really fascinates me.
Semestral break lamang namin at balik eskuwela na naman ako bukas. First year college pa lang ako, HRM student. Well, my goal is to have my own bakeshop with successful branches. I fixed my things inside my leather backpack to make sure na wala akong makakalimutan for tomorrow.
My phone lit up with some notifs. They were comments from my readers.

Napabuntong hininga na lamang ako sa huling comments. Well,most of my readers are very eager to know me. Never pa kasi ako nagpost na kita ang mukha ko. I just like writing blogs and sharing my opinion on things, pero I never wanted the fame. Di ko rin naman inexpect na this will boom.
Deep inside, there is this fear inside me na hindi mawala wala. Naiisip ko kasi yung reactions nila if ever. I know better, people nowadays will choose to call out your imperfections rather than your good qualities. Akala mo naman sila ang bumubuhay sayo.
Pinag-iisipan ko tuloy na pagbigyan sila kahit paano, pero siguro hindi muna ngayon. I decided to just take a quick shower and do my night routines before going to bed.
Wearing my oversized shirt and pajamas, I went to my bedside table and turned off the lamp. Kinuha ko rin ang cellphone para mag-charge at mag-play ng music. 'Di kasi ako nakakatulog agad pag hindi nakikinig sa music.
A message suddenly popped up on my screen. It was Aeri.
aerigirl: Yo mah girl! Dellia's after class?
aerigirl: btw, I'm free at 12nn.
aerigirl: y u still up? morning shift tomorrow. You'll get eyebags and lose admirers c'mon :>
Natawa nalang ako habang binabasa ang messages niya. Dellia's is our fave cafe near the univ.
valvelez: a'ight, just stop nagging. U ain't my mom, see you babe.
Tinabi ko na ang phone ko dahil baka humaba lang ang convo namin.
My alarm kept on ringing and I had no choice but to go up from bed. Wala naman kasing gigising sakin at magluluto bago pumasok. Ginusto ko rin naman na humiwalay sa parents ko. I just don't like the idea of being too dependent on people.
I had a light breakfast before preparing for school. After doing my rituals, I wore my denim jeans,a shirt from a local streetwear brand, and a pair of low cut sneakers. Hindi naman sobrang higpit ng admin pag first day ng classes so I chose to wear comfortable clothes.
As much as I wanted to wear skirts and dresses that girls my age adore, I can't deny the fact that I realy am insecure of my body. I was often shamed for being chubby by our relatives and some schoolmates way back high school.
Lumabas na ako sa condo unit pagkatapos. May mga jeep na dumadaan naman at isang sakay lang papunta sa Palaez University.
The whole morning was spent attending classes. Namimigay lang naman ng course syllabus ang mga prof and free cut na after.
"Hello Chloe, you look so beautiful today. Attend ka ng party later pag free ka ha?"
Napatigil ako sa paglalakad dahil sa biglang nagsalita. It was a senior guy with his group of friends, mayroong babae at lalaki sa grupo nila. I smiled curtly at them.
Hindi na bago ang ganitong invitations sa house party. Normal lamang sa kanila ang ganitong mga kaganapan.
"I'll try,I have plans for today kasi. Besides all my classes are in the morning." I explained.
"Man, I have to go first." Nagsinghapan ang mga kasama nilang babae. Halatang disappointed.
"Xean, dude come on!" Maktol na sabi noong isang lalaki.
Napadako ang tingin ko sa nagsalita. The guy is good looking. Sa tingin ko nasa 6 feet siya,medyo bulky ang katawan pero tama lang sa kanya. I noticed some features that seemed foreign. Well maybe Spanish blood. Overall, he could pass to be one of those international models and everything in him is just manly.
His stares were suddenly on me. Nagpapanic ako deep inside dahil hindi ko maprocess kung ano ang dapat kong gawin. He smiled at me and nodded a bit. Before I could return the favor he already walked away.
"Sorry about that, anyways pag-isipan mo sana. Mauna na kami." Napatango na lamang ako bago maglakad ulit.
Aeri was already in the cafe when I arrived. She lifted her head when she heard the chime and smiled at me cheekily. Lalo tuloy lumiit ang mata.
"Let's order na? I've waited for you kasi I don't wanna finish my food first." Ang conyo talaga ng babaeng 'to. 'Di na bago sakin kaya pati ako nahahawa na rin.
"It's on me na. Just the usual?" she nodded eagerly. Basta talaga libre natataranta. Aware naman kasi siya na kuripot ang b-in-estfriend niya.
Pumunta na ko sa counter at nag-order. The cashier is our friend kaya 'di nagtagal dahil iisa lang ang madalas naming order.
Busy sa kanyang cellphone si Aeri. Nacurious tuloy ako sa pinagkakaabalahan niya. Kumunot ang noo ko nang mapansin na nagbabasa siya ng comments sa blog ko.
"Anong ginagawa mo?" I asked her, still confused.
"Agik!" She looked shock and almost jump from her sit. Napabunghalit ako ng tawa sa reaction niya. And mind you,hindi ko inexpect iyon sa kanya.
"Oh my gosh Chloe, you scared me! I was just scrolling through the comment box and it seems na they are still wanting you to reveal yourself."
I sighed and shrugged my shoulders.
"Well, they are free to leave my site naman if gusto nila. At anong kinalaman ng itsura ko sa ginagawa ko?" Pagpapaliwanag ko.
She just rolled her eyes at me. Napahilot pa siya sa sintido niya.
"Sa tingin ko lang ay mas okay na hindi ka faceless sa readers mo. Wala namang nakakahiya sa appearance mo." She retorted.
Dumating na ang order namin kaya naiwala na rin ang topic. Aeri's enjoying her matcha frappe and cheesecake and I indulged myself with their best-selling strawberry shortcake and frappe.
Hindi nagtagal ay kinailangan din naming umuwi. Maaga pa ang klase kinabukasan at hindi naman ako mahilig umalis pag school days.
So far my day was normal. Naalala ko bigla yung guy kanina. If I remember it clearly, they are maritime students. His friends were really persistent to make me join their parties. Wala naman akong sinamahan ni isa.
Palibhasa ay maliit lang ang circle of friends ko, kaya sa school at sa kanila lang umiikot ang mundo ko. Our dear friend Maria has been missing in action lately. Busy siguro sa boy toys.
Hindi ko lang talaga gusto ang big crowds and noises. Pero I am friendly naman and approachable.
Nagluto na lamang ako ng soup para sa dinner.Tomorrow, normal na ang mga klase at kailangan ko gugulin ang oras sa pag-aaral. Ayaw ko naman sayangin ang pampaaral sakin nila Mommy, they trusted me to live independently without involving myself in bad habits.
Nag-iisip pa rin ako na unti unti na magpost ng pictures ko sa blog. Most of the pictures are just scenery, products, food, diners, and coffee shops.Never talaga ako nagpost ng face ko.
Choice ko pa rin naman ang masusunod at the end of the day, so I made my mind at peace and slept my doubts away.
