The story tells that one day Juan was walking around, kicking everything in his path, taking out his anger for a bad day, with anything that crossed his path, when he passed near a pantheon, he kicked what he thought was a minor thing, but when he saw in detail it turned out to be a skull.
The man, very concerned about his lack of respect, lifts the skull, cleans it in detail and speaks to him to apologize, establishing an interesting monologue addressed to the skull.
- Look where you are, so far from the pantheon and rolling without your body, but don't worry, now I will take you there-
With the pantheon almost around the corner, it was easy for him to get there, enter and deposit the skull through a crack he found in a grave. Following the conversation with the skull I said:
- From what I see your relatives have abandoned you and that's why you are rolling from one side to another, but I wait for you on the day of the dead, to treat yourself to the offering that we put at home year after year, do not forget I wait for you there-
After the time and on November 2, a visitor comes to Juan's house and knocks on the door, the man's wife opens:
- Madam, your husband Don Juan invited me to eat - says the stranger
- Sure, come in, you know that that day the doors are open for anyone who would do us a favor to visit us - the woman answers from inside her house.
Juan's wife very kindly invites him to come, the unknown visitor is served with everything that has been prepared for the occasion, she eats with a lot of appetite and at the end she says goodbye saying:
- Tell your husband Don Juan that thank you very much for the invitation, everything was delicious -
Juan's wife closes the door and when he turns around he realizes that the plate of food is still served and intact, he runs off and can see that at a short distance the lady who had come to visit them vanishes.
When she tells Juan what happened, he tells her about the fault he had committed by kicking that skull and that he was pleased that the owner had accepted his apology and came to eat that day...
