Chapter 6

"sera! Come back!" John yelled running after seraphina. The purple haired girl ran faster increasing the distance between her and the black haired boy. "Stay away from me!" She screamed running towards the edge of the school roof. John stopped in his tracks as he noticed her getting closer towards the ledge. "What are you doing...?" John asked nervously. Seraphina pushed against the fence trying to break through.

"There's no point in going on anymore! I'm so tired of being played and manipulated!" She broke through the fence. "And you... To think that we were friends" she stood in the edge tears spilling out of her eyes. John froze in horror. "Sera..." He started slowly getting closer to her. "Don't do this..." Seraphina moved her foot so that it was going over the edge. "Why? Isn't this what you wanted? To mess with me? Well I'm going for good now... Hope you're happy" seraphina walked off if the roof.

"Seraphina no!" John grabbed her by the arm but it was too late. Together they fell off of the roof. "I'm sorry" John muttered pulling her closer to him as they fell.

"Augh!" John jolted up pain searing through his side where he had fallen in his dream. He covered his mouth as he began to cough. Blood spilling out of the corners of his mouth. Slowly he started to take in deep breaths trying to overcome the sudden shock.

What on earth...?  He slowly lifted himself up in a more upright position and glanced around at his surroundings. He was in a hospital with IV's all over his arm. Where am I? John swung his legs over the hospital bed. The room was seemingly empty except for the bed that lay beside his own. Slowly he stood up pain flowing through his body as he did so. He walked over towards the bed beside him.

Seraphina lay there with an oxygen mask covering her face. John brushed his hand against her forehead. What is happening! He looked around frightened at the unfamiliar situation.

Suddenly the door seeing open revealing a certain group of students. The royals including isen had come to visit. Not John but rather seraphina. Upon seeing John, Arlo filled with rage.

Arlo walked over to John and grabbed him by the collar taking John by surprise. "What the hell did you do to her?!" Arlo asked infuriated. John winced as he struggled against Arlo's grip. "I didn't do anything" John spat forcing Arlo's hands off of him.

Suddenly everything started spinning. John fell to his knees and grabbed at his head. "Augh make it to stop!" John clutched his head tightly trying to shake away the nausea. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and he collapsed onto Arlo.

"John?!" John opened his eyes only to be greeted by another unfamiliar setting. "What...?" He mumbled still holding his head tightly. He awoke to a green pair of glowing eyes. "Elaine..? What the fuck..." He mumbled. Slowly he started to get up. "John take it easy!" Elaine said forcing him back down into a laying position.

"What..?" Seraphina placed a finger on his lips. "We were attacked last night. We managed to escape but we lost more than half of the students and you were shot" seraphina explained. John furrowed his brows. That wasn't what he remembered.

He was slipping between the world's and he could feel it. The overwhelming feeling knocking him out once again.
