"Bro? Tara chill?" Drei asked.

I was about to say yes when I remember that brat. Kanina pa ako inip na inip na umuwi hindi dahil sa kanya kundi dahil sa kung anong katangahan ang pwede niyang gawin mag-isa sa condo ko.

Worst scenarios are spinning in my head. Like the kitchen is on fire, or worst what if she fucking played with my plates?!

I fixed my bag and got my car key. "Sorry bro. I gotta go." tinapik ko na lang ang balikat ng kaibigan at dumiretso sa aking kotse. I manuevered the car fast and swiftly.

I slide the screen on my car when I saw Dhelia calling.

"Kuya!"

"Why?"

"How's Kazee?"

"Fine. Is she your friend by the way?" I asked curiously.

Mailap si Dhelia kaya nakapagtatakang pinakiusapan niya ako para lang sa kanya.

"Uhmm. Kind of." maingat niyang sambit na para bang may inililihim.

"Okay. Regards to your brother." Sambit ko na lang at ibinaba ang tawag.

Roemer is now graduating, he took up business while I still have a year left in my course which is architecture. He's my cousin by the way.

I was interrupted by another call. Agad na kumunot ang noo ko nang makitang ang kapatid ko ang tumatawag.

"Nathan." His voice was cold.

"Mom's fine." I sighed.

I heard him inhaled deeply. He's three years older than me.

"Hindi pa rin siya tumatawag sa iyo?" tanong ko.

When he remained silent, I knew then the answer. Mom never liked his job.

Although he's now a captain in Special Forces, mom doesn't really like his job. Kahit ako ay hindi ko din gusto, pero anong magagawa ko? As long as he's safe then I'm fine with that.

"Take care of mom and Lorah. Sabihin mo kung may manliligaw ang batang iyon at uuwi ako para paputukin ang bungo."

We both laughed. After that he ended the call telling me he have to do something. We both agree on that part, Lorah is still young. She's still our baby girl.

Kumunot ang noo ko nang marinig ang mumunting halgulgol mula sa sala.
