Ariana woke up in a panic, forgetting the night before. Then everything came back, and she let out a breath. She quickly put on her coat, and pulled her hair into a messy bun. She left the trailer, with a slight jog. She looked to the side for a second, and ran into a body, falling to the ground.
"I-I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going, a-and I" She got up as she stumbled across her words. She looked up at the person she ran into, and immeadatly looked down, a slight blush crawling against her face. The boy she ran into was much taller than her, then again, wasn't everybody.
"Lost, Northsider?" She shook her head, taking a step back from him. She looked back up at him, taking in his features.
"No." She tried to brush past him, only resulting him grabbing her arm. Panic started to course through her, as memories flashed through her head. "Let me go." Her voice wavered, as she yanked her arm away from him. She started running away from him, not bothering to look back.

Ariana found her way back home in less than 15 minutes. She rushed inside, seeing that her brother and father were in the kitchen. She walked in, pulling off her running shoes and tossing them aside. "I'm back." she mumbled.
"Morning Sunshine." She smiled at her father, before heading up the stairs to her room, completely ignoreing her brother. Once inside her room, she changed into her clothes for the day, before brushing out her hair and pulling it into a low loose ponytail, a few pieces of hair falling out and framing her face. She applied eyeliner and mascara, hoping to make herself seem more awake. Once she was finished with that, she put on a pair of white Vans and left her room. She hurried downstairs and into the kitchen, where her brother and her father were argueing again. She rolled her eyes in annoyance at Archie.
"Let's go Arch." She pushed him out of the kitchen and towards the door. She turned back towards her father and kissed him on his cheek.
"By Dad." He gave her a worried look. "I'll try to watch out for him." She added softly before following Archie out the door.

Their walk to school was silent. Ariana wasn't pissed at her brother, but she was disapointed. When they arrived at school, Ariana and Archie went their sepreate ways. Ariana kept her head low during the day, avoiding interaction. It was her 1st day back after getting shot, and she did not want attention. Unfourtunatly, when Ariana was at her locker at the end of the day, Cheryl decided to disrupt her.
"So, she got shot and yet she lives. What makes you so special?" Ariana kept her attention on putting her stuff into her backpack. "What? No reponse? I didn't realize that getting shot affects your voice." Ariana sighed, zipping up her backpack. She was done with Cheryl being a bitch.
"Does almost drowning make someone even more of a bitch?" She shut her locker, before turning on her heels, leaving Cheryl shocked behind her. She continuted walking until she got home, just wanting to get away from the school and everyone else.

It was almost midnight, and Ariana was reading one of her favorite books. Her door was shut, and she was sitting in silence, the only noise being an occasional page turn. She was content, winding down from the day. As she was finishing her chapter, she heard a door open across the hall, followed by footsteps. She quietly swore before pulling on a pair of sneakers and grabbing her phone. She left her room, only to see Archie by the door in a hoodie, pulling on his sneakers. She ran down the stairs as quickly and quietly as possible, not wanting to wake their father.
"What the actual Hell Archie?" She whisper yelled. He whipped his head around, a look of fear crossing his face.
"I can't sleep. I'm going on a run." Ariana's eyes fell to a backpack next to him.
