"I'll go with you," you said to Sabine and Hera. They were preparing to take a squad of fighters out to Concord Dawn, where a group of Mandalorians lived.
"(Y/n) would be useful," Sabine said to Hera, then turned to you. "You speak Concordian, right?"
"That is correct," you said.
"I thought you spoke Mando'a," Hera said referring to the times you and Sabine spoke in the Mandalorian native language.
"They're both really similar so I can understand and speak both, but I grew up on Concordia, I learned it first," you explained.Hera nodded and gave you a look of approval.
"They speak Concordian on Concord Dawn?" She asked.
"That's what I've heard, I mean I never actually met any of the Protectors," you said. "Just heard stories."
"Then you should come," Hera said. You were about to follow Hera and Sabine to where the rest of the pilots were getting ready, when Commander Sato approached you.
"Commander Vizsla," he said. "I need you in the command center."
"But sir, I'm going to assist Captain Syndulla for the mission to Concord Dawn," you said.
"I'm sorry, but we need you here," Sato said. You nodded and looked at Sabine.
"Sorry," you said.
"You're good," she said. "Wish me luck."
"There's no thing as luck," you muttered to yourself, quoting your old Master, but you wished Sabine luck anyway. "Good luck."From the command center, you watched as the fighters all flew away from the ship and into hyperspace. You'd been itching to fly all week, you didn't get to fly as much because Ahsoka had always been the better pilot. But she was off on a different mission and would be gone for a while.
Finally, you turned to Sato, who was staring at the holotable.
"Commander Sato," you said. "Why did you need me to stay?"
"Because I need you to be here when we have a meeting with all the Rebel Alliance leaders," Sato said.
"But I'm only a Commander because of my rank during the Clone War," you said. "I have almost no experience when it comes to leading a battalion."
Sato raised an eyebrow at you.
"I mean, a Rebel cell," you said.It had been a while since you slipped up and called the Rebels a battalion. The slip up was just a reminder of the war that affected your once normal life.
Sato nodded and resumed his lecture to you.
"You were the General for the 332nd Company during the Siege of Mandalore," Sato said. "You will attend this meeting."
"Yes sir," you muttered.Soon you were facing all of the different Rebel cell leaders over the transmission.
"Commander Sato," Senator Organa said. "I see you've brought a friend."
"Hello Senator," you said. "You probably don't remember me."Bail Organa glanced at you one more time before he smiled.
"Hello General Vizsla," he said. "What are you doing here?"
"Well Commander Sato believes that I am capable to help lead our rebel cell, so he asked me to join this meeting," you said. "And I don't really fit the description of a General anymore sir, I'm just a Commander, again.""Well Commander Vizsla," Senator Organa said. "It's good to see a Jedi alive. I was there, at the temple when... it happened."
"Thank you sir," you said nodding and letting Commander Sato speak to the Rebel Alliance leaders.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the meeting, you watched as three fighters came out of hyperspace in full retreat. You were about to ask them what happened when a ship came out of hyperspace. It was Sabine's fighter.
The ship was in bad shape, so you tried to reach the fighter through your comm.
"Sabine?" You asked as Kanan, Ezra, and Zeb ran into the room.
"(Y/n)?" Sabine's voice could be heard through the comm.
"What happened?" You asked.
"We didn't stand a chance," she said. "The Protectors are with the Empire. Hera was supposed to be right behind me."
