You stood in front of Ursa Wren's throne as she watched Sabine with no love in her eyes.
"Your friends are going to bring the Empire down on all of us," Ursa lectured. "You believe the Darksaber will protect you? It won't. It's only a symbol."
"Yeah, a symbol that's united all Mandalorians in the past," Sabine argued. "Look, if we stand together now-"
"Stand together?" Ursa interrupted. "Sabine, it's everything I can do to keep the other Clans from destroying us because of what you did."
"I didn't know the Empire would use the weapon I designed against our people," Sabine said. "But you don't believe me, do you?"
"Even if I did, it wouldn't change all the other ruling houses from seeing you as a traitor," Ursa said.
"I don't."
Ursa looked away from Sabine towards you.
"You don't what (y/n)?"
"I don't see her as a traitor," you said stepping forward. "I'm the rightful leader of House Vizsla, so I have some amount of control over you."
"You have been absent from your control for over fifteen years, that hardly counts," Ursa said. "This is a family matter (y/n), stand down."
Ursa continued to focus on her daughter.
"Your own brother now serves Gar Saxon to prove our loyalty," Ursa told Sabine. "And regain a small amount of status."
"Gar Saxon is a killer," Sabine argued.
"He's the Emperor's hand," Tristan butted in. "The acting ruler and Governor of Mandalore."
"And his men wiped out the Protectors," Sabine said.
"The Protectors were executed for treason, just as Fenn Rau will be when he is found." Ursa argued.
"They were loyal to Mandalore and Saxon betrayed them!" Sabine yelled.
"Enough!" Ursa stood up. "Fenn Rau's people are dead and mine are not. And I intend to keep them that way. All of them"
"Except for me," Sabine muttered quietly.
Ursa looked at her daughter, then at you before she turned back to Sabine.
"Walk with me," Ursa said.
Ursa and Sabine walked out of the room and you saw Ezra turn to Tristan.
"So you're Sabine's brother? Hmm. I didn't even know she had a brother," he said to Tristan. "I mean, it's not that she didn't want to talk about you, but she just, I don't know, she never really talked about you before."
"Ezra," Kanan interrupted. "Less is more."
"Aren't we here to make friends?" Ezra asked.
"Just let me handle the negotiating," Kanan said.
Kanan and Ezra turned away as they bickered and you approached Tristan who was watching you with great interest.
"Do they do this a lot?" Tristan gestured to Kanan and Ezra.
"More than I'd like to admit," you chuckled and looked at him. "You're actually old now, not that I ever met you as a baby."
"I've heard of you before," Tristan said. "You fought with my mother during the Siege of Mandalore."
"I did," you said smiling. "She's a great warrior, and mother, it's a shame she joined the Empire."
"The Empire is trying to bring peace, the Rebellion isn't helping," Tristan defended.
You looked at him and shook your head.
"Take it from someone older," you said. "The powerful side doesn't always win, all it takes is one spark to overthrow them."
"You trained Sabine," Tristan realized. "You taught her how to use the Darksaber."
"Yes, I taught her how to fight," you said calmly.
"But your father was the last Mandalorian to have it, why don't you use it?" Tristan asked and you could feel the shadow form over your face.
"Would you use the same blade that killed your father?" You asked.
"No, I guess not," Tristan said.
There was an awkward silence between the two of you before Tristan spoke up.
"I'm gonna go find Sabine and my mother," he said. "Okay," you nodded as Tristan ran away.
