That's Not Really A Lesson Is It?

BELLAMY'S P.O.V

Wells and Finn carried Atom's body into camp in a piece of tarp, whilst an unconcious Talia lay in my arms. Going through the gate, a million eyes seemed to peer back, at the tarp, then to T.

"We've got to get back to Jasper. I'll need boiled water to make the medicine," Clarke said, heading towards the dropship as Finn and Wells placed the tarp on the floor. Finn followed Clarke, but Wells stayed next to me.

"Get Clarke whatever she needs," I said, making sure it was known that she was more than I first thought she was.

"I better go get this grave dug. Make sure she's ok," Wells motioned to T before he left.

"Shit! What happened? Is she ok? Is she alive?" An emotional Tash ran up to me and her barely awake twin.

"She's fine. She just needs some rest."

"I don't like resting, it's boring. Besides, it was just a passing thing, ok?" Talia had come back to the real world, and her stubborn self.

"Welcome back to the land of the living," I said, raising an eyebrow before putting her steady on her feet. It was weird - the pains only lasted in the instant that they happened. When she woke up, they were always fine.

"Why are you covered in blood? Dammit, Talia! I literally cannot take you anywhere," Tasha half joked. Talia gave her a lazy smile -  one that told of underlying tiredness.

"It's about time. They're gonna kill Jasper. Did you get the medicine?" Octavia's voice sounded as she spoke to Clarke. Crap. I'd forgotten about her and Atom for the time being.

"Hey, no one is killing Jasper," T said defensively. Octavia started to walk over, and Clarke tried distracting her.

"Yeah. I… I got it. Come on. Let's go talk," she said, knowing the way Octavia would react to Atom's body.

"Octavia, just stay there. Please, stay back," I pleaded with her when she ignored Clarke.

"Why?" I tried holding her back, to stop her seeing. "Stop!" Her eyes were full of confusion. I had to let her see. Pulling back the tarp, her face looked struck by an invisible hand. "Atom," she breathed.

"There's nothing I could do," I said, trying my hardest to make her understand.

"Don't." A single tear fell down her cheek, leaving a clean trail down her slighlty dirty face. Talia crouched down next to her, pulling the cover back over Atom's face.

"There was no alternative. You know I would have saved him if I could," Talia said softly. O looked painfully into her eyes, before getting up and pushing past me. Murphy approached, looking mildly amused. He was a dick, but he was also an ally.

"You find this entertaining, huh? Wipe the smirk off your face, Murphy. Or I will," T said, fronting up to him. Before he could reply, I stepped in, between the both of them. The tension was electric.

"Lose anyone here?"

"No. Jasper is still breathing. Barely. I tried to take him out, but your psycho little sister - " Cutting him off, I lunged at him, grabbing him by the collar. No one calls my sister anything.

"My what? My what?!?"

"Your little sister," he spat out defensively before shoving me off.

"Yeah, that's right. My little sister.Got anything else you wanna say about her?" He stayed silent for a second, studying my face.

"Nothing, sorry," he mumbled kinda pathetically.

"Get him out of here," I told Jones, motioning to Atom's body. T's face told me I'd been to brash in the way I referred to our fallen ally, but right now, I wasn't in the mood for trivialities.  Giving Murphy one more glance, I left camp.
