The drive back to the house was silent. Both of them were still trying to figure out what Maggie and Edward had just told them. Clara was the descendant of witch, she wasn't technically a witch but she had witch blood. That meant she was stronger than other Luna's, she had the ability to use all the elements instead of just one or a couple. It would be harder and take her longer to gain full control over her abilities, and until she did, she needed to try and keep a hold on her emotions. Her emotions are how she taps into her abilities, and any intense emotion may trigger her ability.

They pulled up outside the house but neither of them got out. Drew turned off the engine and they sat in the darkness. They'd spent hours at the house with his parents, talking things over and trying to get as much information out of them about it as possible. It was early evening, but the closer it got to winter the shorter the days were becoming. Drew was the first to get out of the car. He walked round and opened Clara's door. She stepped out of the car and smiled weakly up at him. They headed into the house and Clara went straight over to the sofa in the living room. She lay down and hugged her knees to her chest. Drew went into the kitchen and began to make them both a hot cup of tea.

"You hungry?" Drew called from the kitchen. Clara's eyes flicked over to his direction, but the wall was blocking her view from him.

"Do you guys have take-out here?" She answered him with a question and heard a low chuckle come from the kitchen. She wasn't particularly hungry but she knew she needed to eat. If she was going to eat anything, she wanted a nice comforting pizza. Drew walked in with a smile on his face holding two mugs in his hands.

"Of course, pizza? Or Chinese? He said as he took a set next to her on the sofa. She shuffled round and lay her head on his lap. Placing the tea down on the coffee table, he stroked her head and played with her long dark hair.

"Pizza." Drew nodded his head, pleased she'd gone with that as he wasn't really in the mood for Chinese. He couldn't even try to imagine what was going through her head at that moment in time. As pleased as he was that she was so strong and powerful, he felt guilty knowing that he was the reason all of this was happening to her. If he wasn't her mate, she'd be with her family none the wise to any of this. As if reading his mind Clara turned over to look up at him.
"This isn't your fault you know, our parents should have told us so we knew what to expect. They shouldn't have lied to us all these years. We should have been ready for this." She sighed and turned back on her side, trying to hold back some tears.

No more crying. Not today. I've cried enough for one day. She thought to herself feeling stupid for feeling so emotionally weak.

"But if you'd been mated with anyone but me, none of this would have happened." He felt so guilty, Clara could feel it as if it was her own guilt. She turned over to look at him again and placed one hand on his cheek so their eyes met.

"Don't think like that. They should have told us the truth, if they'd had done that then we'd both have known what was in store for us. We'd have been ready for it instead of it coming out of nowhere. This isn't your fault." She could feel anger rising up in her, she was angry with her parents. With his parents. With everyone who ever hid anything from her. She took a deep breath and tried to get a hold on her anger. She needed to keep it under control, if she didn't who knows what might happen.

"Let's talk about something else. We can talk about this tomorrow when we've both slept on it. Why don't you go and find a film to watch upstairs and I'll order us some food?" Clara nodded her head and smiled, thanking him for understanding that talking about it would only trigger her anger further. She sat up and picked up her tea from the table before heading upstairs.

The next morning Clara and Drew headed to the pack house together. Maggie had asked Clara to return, with the strength of her powers she thought it best she be the one to train her rather than Lexi to start with. Once she'd got a bit of control over them, Lexi would take over again. When they arrived, there was already work men out repairing the damage Clara had done to the fields. Maggie came out the house when she saw them pull up, she was wearing a pair of sports shorts and a sports bra and she held a bag with a change of clothes in for Clara.
