The next morning Clara's eyes flickered open to the sunlight that shone in through the window. For a moment she wasn't expecting to wake up where she was, and she forgot that she wasn't at home anymore. She looked round at the room in the daylight and took in her new bedroom. It was very different to her room back home, a lot more modern, and cosy. She sat up and looked over at Drew who was still sleeping silently, in her head she thanked the gods that he didn't snore. Her mind wandered back to the night before and she felt foolish for practically throwing herself at him. Hopefully he didn't think badly of her for it. She wanted to do something to say thank you for being such a gentleman last night. She wanted to surprise him. An idea popped into her head and a small smile touched her lips.

As she climbed out of the bed, she was careful not to wake him. Thankfully his top was large enough on her to be a small dress, so she was covered up. She quickly headed down the stairs, when she got to the bottom, she felt the cold stone flooring beneath her feet. It was a smooth polished stone in a cream colour, again nothing like back home where they had creaky wooden floorboards everywhere. She headed to the kitchen to make Drew breakfast, when she pulled open the fridge, she was shocked by how full of food it was. She'd never seen so much food in her life. She pulled out exactly what she needed and placed it on one of the worktops before hunting through the cupboards for a frying pan. The first three she opened were full of more food, but no pans.

"How much food does one guy need?" She whispered under her breath. Eventually she found one and begin to make the food. When she was nearly finished, she grabbed a couple of plates, but she still hadn't heard any movement upstairs. Did she go and wake him up and take it to him in bed? What if he wasn't a morning person? What if he didn't even have breakfast? She shook her head and tried to tell herself to stop doubting what she was doing.

"Good morning!" A voice behind her made her jump out of her skin. When she turned around Drew was stood in a pair of grey joggers shirtless. She was speechless for a moment and all she could think about what throwing the spatula on the side and then jumping on him.

"I- I made breakfast." He smiled and took a seat on one of the stools around the island. She continued to finish up and put it onto the plates.

"Just how I pictured it last night." He smiled, as she turned round with two plates of blueberry pancakes and laid them down. She couldn't help but think about how cute his bed hair and morning eyes were.

"Orange juice?" She asked as she reached for two glasses. It was on one of the top shelves and as she reached for them the top raised up exposing her bum slightly.

"Yes please." The food looked delicious, but his mind was occupied elsewhere, Clara placed the orange juice on the counter with the glasses and took a seat opposite him.
"Thank you. I could get used to this you know." She giggled and shrugged her shoulders before picking up her fork to dig in.

"So, what do you normally do with you day?" She asked curiously as he took a bite of a pancake.

"Well, usually I'd get up and go for a run. Then come back, freshen up, and sort a few things out with the pack. Probably head up to the pack house and see my Mum and sister, then after dinner I'd come back here. I have a few mandatory days off duty though, to spend with you and get to know you. So, we can do whatever you want to." Whatever she wanted? All she wanted at that moment was for him to throw everything off the worktop and have his way with her on there. She shook the thought out of her head quickly though. Why could she not stop thinking about him like that? Was it because of last night? Or something to do with the whole mate thing?

"What do you do for the pack?" He shrugged his shoulders as he watched her fidget in the seat a little.

"My role has various responsibilities; I have to help my Dad out with a lot of things at the moment." She nodded her head and continued to eat her breakfast.
