My eyes fluttered open, but they were met with darkness. This time though, I knew exactly where I was. The same basement as before. I pushed myself up from lying down on the cold hard floor, so I was sat up with my back pressed against the wall. The shackles around my wrists and ankles clinked together. I frowned in confusion. Was I actually here? Or was it a dream? Why was I here again?

I looked round at my surroundings once my eyes had adjusted to the darkness, I needed to take in as much as possible. Last time I didn't get a proper look at it all. My eyes peeled around the room, looking for anything that would help workout where the place was. The walls were damp and dark but had not significant markings or pictures. Narrowing in on the barred window I tried to see what was outside. Trees, brown leaves, the woods. We were in the woods, but other than the trees there was nothing telling me whereabouts in the woods.

Wait... My stomach! My head shot down and I lifted the top I was wearing inspecting the skin. Nothing. Not cuts, or marks. Nothing. I sighed a little with relief that the guy doing this to me hadn't cut me open like before. Was he going to come down? Was he going to come back like before? I could feel my heart begin to race with nerves at the idea of him coming back. As if one cue the door at the top of the wooden stairs slammed open bouncing off the wall behind it. Just as before, the man's large looming figure stood filling the doorway. He wore the same dark clothes, and the baseball cap pulled down hiding his face. My heartbeat began to race even quicker in fear of what was about to happen. Was he going to talk to me like last time? What if I messed up again? What if I slipped up and he knew I was faking? I tried to take deep breaths and stay calm but no matter how much I tried I couldn't stop the panic rising in the pit of my stomach.

"Morning sweetie. I hope you slept well." I didn't say anything, unsure of how to respond. Yes, I slept great on the stone-cold floor in this damp dingy room... No if I gave him sassiness, I'd probably just get myself into trouble. I had to be careful. Instead I just nodded my head slightly so he didn't think I was ignoring him. He began to walk down the steps, his boots slamming heavily onto the wooden floorboards as he did. When he reached the bottom, he took a seat on the last step, keeping his head low so I couldn't see his features.
"I've got a surprise for you later. But for now, I thought we could chat?" His voice was somewhat... nervous? I frowned slightly but nodded my head. What was the surprise?

"I... I want to see you; can you take the cap off?" I tried to say it in a way that wasn't suspicious, but I really just wanted to see who the man tormenting me really was.

"Unfortunately, sweetie, I've been busy and haven't had chance to sort myself out. Maybe next time when I don't feel so scruffy." I sighed in frustration but nodded my head. Maybe I could ask him again later instead.
"Tell me, did you really believe Drew was your mate?" My head shot up to look at the man sat in front of me. If I said yes, it could piss him of, but if I said no then I'd be lying.

"I... I wasn't sure, but he said I was his so I... I just went with it, you know?" I hated lying, but I had to do it. Except, this time when I was lying, I needed to be more believable. Last time I slipped up and he caught me out, but I wouldn't let that happen this time.

"I understand, but how did you resist our bond? It was so hard for me, I couldn't... I couldn't stop thinking about you. Ever." I had to think quickly if I wanted to make my next answer believable. This guy must be seriously mistaken, I know for a fact the bond I have with Drew is like nothing I've ever felt before or will feel again.
