A few small kids ran around in the neighborhood as me and my father grabbed our luggage from our car. I took out my small bag, and Teddy. I walked near the door, taking the house key and placing it in the lock. I pushed the door open to a stained carpet.
"Oh great.." I groaned. THIS is what i'm greeted with?! My dad walked straight past me as he put down some luggage. "Wow, this is a very neat home!" He said happily as he touched the staircase.
I walked upstairs, leaving Teddy to sniff the large stain on the carpet. The end of the hallway held a tall, wooden door. I turned the knob as I walked into a small, pleasant room with light blue walls and a white carpet. Now this.. THIS was a start for me.
Two weeks later, I finally started school. I got ready, sliding on a red v-neck crop top and some high waisted ripped jeans. I also wore some white sneakers. Brushing my hair into a middle part as my dad honked the car twice. I rushed downstairs, grabbing my bag and hopping in the car. "I'm ready- let's just go, ok?" I sighed, not excited for high school.
My dad laughed it off, driving down the road and out of the neighborhood to my high school. We soon pulled up at the high school. I took a deep breath before stepping outside the car. "Have a happy first day, Brooks!" My dad hollered, starting to drive off. I rolled my eyes.
"I fucking hate this.." I complained, walking inside the school.
