[ SHORT CHAPTER ] I woke up. Everything was a dream? Ryan slept next to me peacefully as we lay in his bedroom. I was sweating because the dream hit me so hard. It was a nightmare.
Why would I ever get a dream like that? It was so detailed, like it was real. But it wasn't.
Ryan got up, shaking his head. "What's wrong?" He asked, tired. "I had a nightmare- sorry." I sighed, laying back down. Ryan held my hand. "Brook."
I looked over at him, raising a brow. "What is it?" "You know sophomore year is coming soon, right?" He asked. I nodded.
"Only a few more days before we go on to be a sophomore. I can't wait for the firework show, right?" He questioned. "Yeah, it'll be pretty." We smiled at each other. "Ryan?" I asked. "Hm?" "Why do you like me?" "You stand out from the crowd."
I stand out from the crowd. Wow.
"Is that a good thing?" I asked. "Yes, yes it is." Ryan then closed his eyes, falling back to sleep. "Goodnight." I whispered.
