Anthony's shower was really cool. It was big and spacious and all high tech! He had loads of body washes which was a bit weird....considering he was a guy. I don't even think Mari owned as many hair products as he did. I guess that's why his hair was so sexy. Did I really just call a guy's hair sexy?
I opened a grapefruit and mango body wash and smelled it. "Yum!"
The water felt good and I was warming up pretty quick. I was much happier now that I was out of my freezing wet clothes. I couldn't believe I was in Anthony's dorm in Anthony's bathroom.
Once I had washed my hair and lathered my body in body wash, I rinsed off.
Anthony was so considerate to offer me a shower. He was really nice. I think I really like him. Of course in a friend way not in a pervy way.
My cheeks heated up whenever I thought about him or spoke to him. He sort of made me question how much I was into girls and how I might very slightly possibly be into men.
I mean...know once will mind if I'm slightly homo right? Loads of people back at school are either bi or gay. Plus, people are more tolerant of that type of stuff.
My cheeks were now flaming a soft pinky glow. Maybe I was just delirious. I was feeling pretty tired. Maybe I was just imagining I liked Anthony. Yeah. Imagining.
I probably spent a good half an our in the shower. I didn't want to leave Anthony waiting for me so I tried to twist the tap which turned off the shower.
"Darn it." I muttered, pushing it with all my might. It just wouldn't budge! So much for high tech. It was jammed!
The last thing I wanted to do was call for Anthony but after five minutes of pushing at the tap I groaned in frustration. "Anthony!" I called timidly, stepping out the shower and leaving it running.
On my way to the door I grabbed a towel and held it to my body. I opened the bathroom door and poked my head out.
I guessed Anthony didn't hear the first time I called him because he was lying on the couch with his feet up with a book in his hands. Wow. He must be clever! He reads. That's so intellectual.
I really didn't want to interrupt him but I was scared of wasting his water! I swallowed and opened my mouth to speak. Hesitantly I shut it again because I couldn't find my voice. What was up with me?
My hand slipped on the door handle and I went toppling down into the living room. "Ouch!" I yelped, my body hitting the ground with a thud.
I was so embarrassed. Anthony was right! I was so clumsy it was humiliating. Luckily the towel in my hands landed on top of me which kept my body covered.
I looked up, finding Anthony looming above me. Well hello there.
I went crimson and swallowed, my eyes wide. There was nothing I could say. I felt like if I spoke I would just make everything worse.
"Are you alright?" He asked me, stifling laughter.
Oh no. I was going to laugh at me again. My cheeks were so hot with embarrasment I felt like my eyes were going to start watering.
Fortunately Anthony helped me up, making sure the towel covered up my 'naughty areas'
"Did you fall?"
I simply nodded, my gaze hitting the floor and staying there. I was such a twit. How I could I just fall from standing?! My balance really is awful.
I heard Anthony chuckle. It wasn't mean or teasing but sort of...comforting.
"Are you sure you're alright?" I flinched when I felt his hand push back my wet hair from my face. He let it linger on my head for a minute which made me look up.
Whatever he was doing, it felt nice. Butterflies fluttered inside my tummy and my heart leapt like a frog! "Y-yes!" I finally said.
Then Anthony whispered. "Good."
Our eyes met and I was reminded how nice his eyes were. They were so brown. Like chocolate.
When Anthony realized the shower was still running he looked up with a frown. "You didn't turn the shower off." He walked into the bathroom and switched off the shower.
"Oh!" I said quickly, hoping he wasn't upset with me. "I-I really did try! The tap thing didn't move. It got jammed and I tried to call you! But then I fell when I was opening the door."
"Ian, it's not jammed." He laughed. "Which way did you turn it?" He asked, grinning to himself and shaking his head.
"T-to the left...why?" I asked, beginning to wonder if it was a trick question.
His grin widened and I smiled back at him nervously.
"You're supposed to turn it to the right."
