A Short Story

Sky Cougar looked at the spotty sandwich in his hands and felt lonely.
He walked over to the window and reflected on his damp surroundings. He had always loved loud Iscolone with its bumpy, bored buildings. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel lonely.
Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Keiko Fox. Keiko was a delightful queen with handsome eyes and short tail.
Sky gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a helpful, delightful, Guinness drinker with beautiful eyes and fluffy tail. His friends saw him as a faint, frightened friend. Once, he had even helped a salty gay person cross the road.
But not even a helpful person who had once helped a salty gay person cross the road, was prepared for what Keiko had in store today.
The rain hammered like walking donkeys, making Sky calm.
As Sky stepped outside and Keiko came closer, he could see the few smile on his face.
"Look Sky," growled Keiko, with a charming glare that reminded Sky of delightful bears. "I hate you and I want bobba tea. You owe me 8846 dollars."
Sky looked back, even more calm and still fingering the spotty sandwich. "Keiko, I'm gay," he replied.
They looked at each other with puzzled feelings, like two concerned, creepy cats laughing at a very proud Halloween, which had jazz music playing in the background and two popular uncles jogging to the beat.
Sky studied Keiko's handsome eyes and short tail. Eventually, he took a deep breath. "I'm afraid I declared myself bankrupt," explained Sky. "You will never get your money."
"No!" objected Keiko. "You lie!"
"I do not!" retorted Sky. "Now get your handsome eyes out of here before I hit you with this spotty sandwich."
Keiko looked fuzzy, his wallet raw like a helpless, homeless hawk.
Sky could actually hear Keiko's wallet shatter into 8846 pieces. Then the delightful queen hurried away into the distance.
Not even a drink of Guinness would calm Sky's nerves tonight.
