A Horror Story

Whilst investigating the death of a local painter, a funny painter called Sky Cougar uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, enchanted torch circulating throughout Iscolone. As soon as anyone uses the torch, he or she has exactly 3 days left to live.
The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look grey. A marked person feels like a stripy fox to touch.
Sky gets hold of the torch, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into her mind: a quiet fox balancing on a magical painter, an old newspaper headline about a biking accident, a hooded owl ranting about feet and a drinking well located in a wild place.
When Sky notices her abs have fox-like properties, she realises that the curse of the enchanted torch is true and calls in her friend, a lawyer called Hunt Wolf, to help.
Hunt examines the torch and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. She finds the quiet fox balancing on a magical painter particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a supernatural death.
Sky and Hunt pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded owl. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
