After finishing my sandwich and coffee I lay back in my seat in the parking lot. I don't want to go home, to my crazy ass mother and her crazy ass thoughts. I throw my trash away and text Madi.
"Hey, are you free?" I ask.
"Home work, sorry." She texts.
"It's fine, later?" I text.
"Yeah." She replies.
I turn off my phone and shove it my pocket before turning on my car. As I pull in the drive way my phone buzzes in my pocket.
Liam's name flashes on the screen, "Hey, want to come over?"
I look up at the door and see my mom through the window. I text, "Give me your address."
After putting in the address into the g.p.s I headed over. What would he want me over for? I mean, I couldn't stop thinking about his nice lip... My thoughts are interrupted by a car honk. I was stopped at a green light, snapping back I push the gas and continue.
When I pull into his driveway I notice his house. It had a modern look but something about it made it look expensive. He comes out the door and meets me when I get out.
"Hey" I say locking my car.
"Hi uumm, come in." He starts to walk.
I follow him through the door, who I assume is his mom stands in the kitchen. She waves while smiling and I do the same. I follow him up the stairs and he leans over the rail.
"We're going upstairs!" He yells.
"Keep the door open!" I hear her call.
He laughs with me as we walk up the stairs and through a doorway. He waits for me to walk in and slams the door.
"Aren't you supposed to keep it open?" I ask.
"Yeah, but I don't want to." He says shrugging.
I sit on his bed and he follows, "So?" I say.
"Maybe we can get a head start on our project?" He says smiling.
I nod and laugh a little, our project.
"What's it about now?" I ask giving him a playful shove.
He gives me a fake shocked look, "How dare you!" He asks laughing.
"No, uumm... well I think we should work on writing first." He says.
"I'll do it!" I say quickly.
"You like writing." He says.
"You asking or telling me?" I ask smiling.
We worked a little solo while talking, then we worked on one thing. We argue for a while over what the cover should be on our paper. Of course I win though, after finishing up we sit in silence for a little. I wait for him to say something but he doesn't, ugh why doesn't he?
"Well!" I say slapping my hands on my lap, "It's about time I go."
He looks at me and grabs my hand, "You could stay." He says.
I smile at him, what? "Stay." He says.
I grab his face and kiss him hard. He holds my cheeks lightly, his rings are cold against my skin. I pull away and stand. I can't help but feel guilty, I want to so badly but not yet. He stands in front of me and looks at the ground.
"I... want to-" He interrupts me.
"I know, it's Noah." He says looking up at me.
I nod while frowning, "I don't like him it's just-" I start.
"I know, I really I do get it." He says, "soon enough"
I smile and turn towards the door, "Wait." He says quietly.
He stands in front of me as I turn my back to the door, "Why can't I kiss you?" He asks.
I giggle a little, "You're just so irresistible." I say teasing.
"I know right." He says laughing. One last time I kiss him softly and open the door.
As I walk down the stairs I can hear him bouncing down them behind me. When I get to the door I hear his mom call him. I stand by the door and wait.
I hear her say quietly, "I thought I said to keep the door open." I giggle as I hear her laugh with him.
He comes back and walks me to the car. As I sit in the car with the door open he leans down and smiles.
"See ya later speedy." He says.
"Hey!" Noah?
He walks up to the car and stares at us. Liam's face is pale and I'm assuming mine matches.
"What're you doing here?" Noah asks looking at me.
I gulp and say, "Me and Liam have a project."
"Yeah, we were getting to work early." He agrees.
Noah pats him on the shoulder and they walk away. Liam waves a little but Noah doesn't do anything. I sigh as I watch them walk through the door.
