I stare at this... this creature with such anger. Liam stares at me, Noah sits in silence along with his perfect little father. She holds her god awful smile at me.

"Got anything else?" I ask glaring.

"Sure, she's a drunk right?" She asks know damn well.

Liam pushes his chair back and walks out the front door.

"Look what you did." She says.

How can his woman blame me for her stupid words. Oh, right shes naive and fucked up. I watch this woman while she waits, expecting me to respond to her. I turn to Noah with tears trying to make their way through. His face changes into a worried site.

"How do you sit back and let your mother say these things to me?" I ask fuming in anger.

"I... I" He stutters.

"He doesn't care about you." His mother says from behind me.

I don't really want to date Noah, but these words get to me. I'm at least his friend, but maybe he doesn't care. I stand and slowly walk toward the door, I stop while twisting the doorknob.

"Thank you for the awful dinner." I say calmly and walk out. I stand on the white porch for a second while one tear falls down my cheek.

I walk down the steps and begin to run through the wood trail and down the path leading to the road. I rush by the trees and before I can stop at the site I hit something and fall to concrete scraping my knees. When I brush my long ass hair out of my face I see him standing there with his hands in his pockets. He holds out his hand to me and I take it, groaning as I stand.

"Could kill some one speedy." He says smiling.

"Wish I did." I say pushing my hair back.

"Well, your bleeding." Liam says pointing to my knees.

"No big deal." I say shrugging.

Shit. I'm supposed to cry, "Ow, it hurts so bad." I try my best to cry.

He's not buying it, "You done yet?" He asks smiling.

I nod and laugh a little waiting for him to say something rude or stupid.

"I've seen a lot of soft girls that look like you fall and cry, you aren't one, so what're you doing?" He asks leaning against his car.

"Nothing." I say becoming serious.

"Not true, I did this once, it doesn't work." He says frowning.

I look at him completely pulled in by his words, watching his lips move as he talks.

"Why do you care?" I ask, "I thought you hated me."

He looks at me quickly, "What?" He laughs, "No! I could never hate You."

Now confused I stare at him, "But you never speak to me and you left when we were arguing." I say.

"Well, I'm just like that." He says, "I hate listening to her say those things to you and I hate Noah for letting it happen."

"Thank you for at least trying." I say.

"yeah." He says, "For the record, not a huge sap or a rich guy but I only came to see you."

I smile at the thought. His tattoos showing through his white shirt, He turns around and stops at the driver door.

"Come on,"  He says, "I'll take you home."

I get in next to him with a big smile on my face. I loved his car, it was so nice and black. I got a pink Toyota. I hated that damn car. The music played quietly through the radio as he drove. I swayed along and smiled every time he glanced over at me. When he pulled into my driveway a sad waved washed over me. I didn't want to go home, leaving him and to see my mom.
