Chapter 13

Blake POV

The door was swung open and a smoke grenade was thrown in. They are here. The room starts to get foggy and filled with smoke. Heavy footsteps all around me but I couldn't see anything. My vision was white and blurry. I tried reaching my hand out to find Violet but she was nowhere around me.

"Violet!" I exclaims.

"Blake! Help me!" she groans as if she was struggling to get out of something.

I tried running to her voice but I can't find her. Then I felt something hard hit me in the face. I groan as I drop on the floor.

" Shit!" Lucas cursed when he realized who he just hit. "I'm sorry man, I thought you were someone else"

I was about to shout at him that he could've hit Violet. But was interrupted when I heard a chair was dragged out of the room. They got Evan. Followed by that was Violet's screams slowly fading out the room then the door was slammed shut.

"They got her!" I panic and try to run towards the door as fast as possible.

Once I found the handle of the door I try to open it but there something blocking on the other side of the door so it wouldn't open. We were stuck in the room with no fresh air. I inhaled the smoke by accident, causing me to cough my lungs out. I pull up my shirt to my nose trying not to breathe in the smoke. Lucas and I tried kicking the door open as hard as we can but still no luck.

" Fuck! This is not supposed to fucking happen!" I run my fingers through my hair in frustration. 

" We won't let them get her, trust me" Lucas says as calm as possible.

 Trust me. Yes I trust him but currently we are stuck in this god damn room with no one to help. We knew that the Scorpios are coming. When I saw the Scorpio badge that fell out of Evan's pocket. I knew this was all part of Xavier's plan. I had to beat the shit out of Evan so he could specifically tell me his plan. He said Xavier was going to ambush the place and try to get Violet and Evan out. He said he would have his men all over the place. I knew I had to come up with a plan soon. That's why I called Lucas over but I didn't know Lucas would bring Violet here. Goddamit why must she be so stubborn?

My thoughts were interrupted when I hear heavy footsteps outside the door. Something was being dragged along the floor then the door swings open. Richard was standing at the door frame with a few more of my men behind him. He looks at Lucas and me with a relief expression. Lucas must've have called back up before he got here, just in case. This is why I need him, he is always the one that saves me out of situations like this. 

We ran out of the room. We followed Richard as he lead the way towards the parking lot just outside the warehouse. When we reach the parking lot, my men were surrounding Xavier, Violet which he was holding her arm tightly, Evan and two of his men in a circle, they were pointing their guns at them. Some of them were already positioned in one of the levels in a building located near the parking lot with a sniper. They must've have killed all of Xavier's men considering the amount of dead bodies scattered around the place. I trained my men well. Then the rain started pouring down. I think the weather knows this is not going to end well.

I smirk knowing I have yet again won against Xavier and he never seems to learn his lesson. There is one thing about Xavier that he never learns from his mistake which is he never has a backup plan. He always thinks he is in control of everything and thinks that everything will go as he plans it to be.

"It's over Xavier," I say as I step forward towards Xavier but keeping my distance from him. "Looks like you are not winning again, little brother," a smirk spreads across my face, making him triggered.

"Where is the rest of my men? I told you to call back up idiot!" Xavier scolds one of his men, hitting his head as if he was a kid that needs to be disciplined.

"Don't you get it? You will never win. Just -" before I could finish my sentence, Xavier wrapped his hand around Violet's neck tightly and points a gun on her head.

All of my men pull out another gun so each of their hands had a gun and points at him, ready to shoot. I raise my hand, signaling them not to shoot. He wouldn't be that dumb to shoot her.

"Let Violet go Xavier," I said as calmly as possible. 

"You always win Blake! I'm sick of this!" He shouts back. "For once let me fucking win something and prove to you I can be better than you" He continues, his hand was still around Violet's neck tightly.

I could see her struggle, trying to get out of his grip. She was gasping for air. But he doesn't move his hand, he wasn't aware that he is strangling her. I saw Lucas stepping forward, I could tell he notices it too. I'm starting to think he might actually kill her just to prove something stupid.

" Xavier let her go! You are fucking strangling her!" I shout at the top of my lungs. 

She could die, right there, right now if Xavier continues to strangle her. His eyes widen in fear when he realized what he was doing. He lets go of his hand quickly. Violet starts coughing as she instantly drops on the floor. I step forward trying to help her but both of his men point their guns at me. I glance behind them. Two of my men, Trevor and Zack, slowly walked up to them quietly before they wrapped their hands around their neck, strangling them just like how Xavier did to Violet. Xavier wasn't paying attention to them, his eyes still remains on Violet. One of them groans before Trevor could close his mouth. Xavier snaps his head around ready to shoot. 

I took the chance to quickly run towards him and punch his back, making him fall to the ground. He groans in pain. I turn my attention towards Violet, that was still laying on the ground. Before Evan could do anything, Richard shoots him at the leg from behind, making him fall to the ground too. The circle that was surrounding them was now smaller and doesn't hesitate to shoot them if they make any movement.

" Hey, are you okay?" I asked Violet as I try to get her up. As she gets up, her eyes widen as she glances at something behind me but I didn't bother turning around to see what was behind me, the only thing I'm more concerned about, is her. 

" Blake!" both, Lucas and Violet shouts at the same time.

When I turned around, Xavier was pointing his gun at me and shoot his shot. Before I could do anything, Violet pushes me out of the way, taking the bullet for me. 

" NO!" I shout as I watch her drop on the floor.

Xavier drops his gun and fell to his knees. " What have I done" he whispers, looking at the mess he made.

I ran towards Violet. I picked her up and lay her body on my lap gently. Her stomach was bleeding profusely from the gunshot. She was trying her best to keep her eyes open. I put my hands on the wound as if it would stop the bleeding. She placed her hand gently on mine and gives me a weak smile before her hand falls.

"Stay with me, Purple. I can't lose you again," I whisper as I buried my face against her neck, wrapping my arms around her body.

I'm starting to think that the chapter is too long so I'm gonna try to keep the chapters as short as possible. And also I need help from you guys. Could you help me point out if there are any grammar mistakes or any spelling for me in the comments? So I could correct when I start editing the chapters.
