"We burned his corpse, he can't be alive, it just isn't possible," Anti folded his arms.

Once the doctors had been let out the attic everyone had been rallied out of their beds and were all holding a meeting in the living room. "Vell unless you have some ozer creature zat lived in ze attic zere has to be some possibility!" Schneep snapped back.

Anti growled through his teeth before pushing himself off the couch armrest. "Fine, I'll go scope out the forest, he couldn't have gone far."

"I shall search the house, Wilford, come with me," Dark said. "Everyone else stay here and alert."

Anti glitched outside the front door and pulled his knife from his waistband. The only light coming from the house, the moon and his glitching. The only noise coming from his crunching footsteps and the occasional scuttling animals. Anti squinted through the dark and tightened his grip on his knife, delving deeper into the woods.

Dark stopped in the meeting room and glanced out the window, he watched Anti's green body creep into the distance. Just as he went to turn away he saw a shadowy form poke its head out from behind a tree near the house.

A grin appeared on the shadowy figure and blue and black smoke covered the glass. Dark tried to teleport out the house but hit the wall. "Shit!" He hissed and ran out the room, down the hall and through the living room, he tugged at the door and when it didn't open he punched the wood. "The door won't open!"

"Dark, what's wrong?" Jackie jumped over the back of the couch and entered the hall, pulling up his shorts.

"Die is outside and Anti is on his own!" Dark yelled and ran to the stairs. "Try and pry the windows or doors open, Die will kidnap Anti and will not be as easy to find this time!"

Anti heard a heavy crunching noise from behind him and spun around, the lights from the house blinded him for a moment and when he focused he saw people hitting the windows, trying to get out.

The glitch started back towards the house and when he heard something large lumbering after him he ran full sprint for the door. He hit the outside of the house and pushed on the door, attempting to get it open.

A hand knocked his knife out his hand and wrapped an arm around his throat, dragging him backwards. Anti kicked his legs before planting his feet on the ground and flinging his torso forward and Die flew over his body, slamming against the wall.

Anti lunged for his knife and Die grabbed his ankles, dragging him down the front path and pulling his shirt up, scraping up his chest and stomach. Die flipped him over and knelt down between his legs, attempting to pin his arms down.

Anti kicked and tried to punch and hit him off, he somehow managed to plant a foot on Die's chest and flung him off. The glitch scrambled towards the door and scooped his knife up, he turned poised to strike and was shoved hard against the door, the wind knocked from his chest.

There was a pounding of fists on the other side of the door but the wood didn't splinter, the Mansion had been built to be impenetrable inside and out. Die pressed Anti's face against the door and turned him around, keeping the front of his body flush against the wood.

His empty hand was trapped between his body and the door and the one clutching his knife was held above his head, Die leaned down into his ear and grinned. "You are quite the brat, Glitchy."

Anti bared his canines at the door and growled. "Only Dark can call me that!" He shrieked.

His body glitched around more aggressively than before and somehow he and Die both ended up on the inside of the house. Die landed on top of Anti and he shoved the older demon off, turned around and raised the blade. The blonde tackled the glitch and knocked the knife out of his hand.

All the stronger egos had ran off to break the windows open and left the sides and "weaker" egos with Anti. "Get into the kitchen dipshits!" Anti screamed and threw Die off.

The glitch kicked Die in the face and knocked him against the wall, his head bouncing off the concrete. Die stomped on Anti's chest and limped towards the now closed kitchen door. Anti grabbed his ankle and brought him crashing to the floor, he snatched his knife, crawled onto his back and plunged the knife into the back of his head.

Dark and the others skidded to a halt around the two and he knelt down, pulling Anti up and into his arms, checking for any damage. "I'm alright,  Darky," he giggled. "But Die has a splitting headache."

The kitchen door started to open but Jackie and Silver ran to it and slammed it shut, both heroes inside. The others cleaned up the mess and Wilford created actual chains to tie Die up and connect him to the basement floor.

Dark stood in between Anti's legs, the glitch had stripped from his blood stained shirt and the older was now dabbing a damp cloth across his sliced chest. Anti hissed and gripped the counter edge tightly, grinding his teeth together as the rough cloth washed the blood from his cuts with cold water.

"Stop being a baby," Dark grinned slightly but lightened his wiping.

Once the wounds were clean Dark moved up to his face and after rinsing out the bloody cloth he wiped the splattered remnants of Die's blood from his green skin. After his face was clean Anti dried his face and torso with a towel.

Anti grabbed Dark's tie and pulled him forward, kissing him. "Thank you for the help, Darky."

"Not a problem, Glitchy," the older leaned forward again and connected their lips, pressing Anti's bare back against the cold wall making him shudder.

Everyone filtered from the living room and back to their bedrooms, finally settling in for the night.
