"Tadashi, get up!" His mother's yell jolted Yamaguchi awake. 

"Oh, y-yes mom!" He called, jumping out of bed and picking up his uniform from the floor and tossing it on. 

He grabbed his phone from the nightstand and shoved it into his pocket before grabbing his backpack and volleyball bag. 

Yamaguchi headed into the bathroom and fixed up his hair and brushed his teeth. 

"I'm gonna skip breakfast, I have to get going!" He told his mom before heading out the door. 

"What about lunch?!" 

"I'll be alright!"

He hurried enough down the road until he caught up to Kageyama and Hinata who was riding his bike alongside him. He stopped by them. 

"Almost late," Kageyama muttered. 

"Hi Yamaguchi!" Hinata waved. 

Yamaguchi waved back. 

"Any news?" Kageyama butted in. 

"Huh?" 

"The girl from the cafe." 

"Oh yeah, I did get a reply," Yamaguchi pulled out his phone before showing the conversation to Hinata and Kageyama. 

"Yay Yamaguchi!" Hinata called out. 

"My ear."

"Sorry Kageyama." 

Hinata and Kageyama then began to go on a tangent about whether or not regular milk was good. 

"How noisy," a voice came from behind the three. 

Hinata turned around and jumped slightly in his seat, "it's the four eyed jerk face!" 

Tsukishima glared slightly at Hinata, but didn't respond to him, "excuse me." "You're too slow." 

He pushed past them. 

"Tsukishima's kind of scary," Yamaguchi muttered slightly. 

"Yeah right," Hinata laughed, "I'm not afraid of him." 

"Alright, then go fight him," Kageyama stated. 

"O-oh, well, why would I pick a fight with him now when we're almost at school?" 

As Kageyama and Hinata kept talking, Yamaguchi's phone buzzed. He pulled it out. 

"She texted me first," Yamaguchi muttered to himself. 

Number: Are people at your school noisy? 
Yamaguchi: some are
Number: yeah.. let's talk more on my lunch break.. bye

Yamaguchi's heart skipped a beat.

I started feeling better so heres a update. I'm not sure if I'm going to update anytime soon because I'm still finding out ideas for this book.
