"She said yes?!" Hinata asked Yamaguchi the next day after volleyball practice.

"Boke, don't act so surprised," Kageyama growled, "of course she'd say yes. Yamaguchi's a nice guy."

"And he's cute, so it makes sense," Suga suddenly informed, standing by them.

"Oh, Suga, hello!" Yamaguchi smiled, waving.

"Sorry, I couldn't help, but overhear the conversation," Suga chuckled, "going for a date?"

"Yeah, this Thursday night," Yamaguchi beamed.

'What a coincidence, that's when Kuroo and I are going,' Tsukki commented to himself as he helped pack up the net.

"Ooo, where?" Suga asked.

"Well, I saved up for this moment so I was planning to go somewhere expensive, but not too expensive," Yamaguchi informed, "she seemed like the type to be picky about a restaurant. So I decided to go to Aragawa." (I believe that's a restaurant in Japan.)

"Oh wow, that is expensive!" Hinata exclaimed.

"Well, I saved up for it-" *BAM*

"T-Tsukki, are you a-alright?" Yamaguchi turned to Tsukishima who had a pole at his feet.

"Oh yeah," Tsukishima went to pick it up and walk away, 'thats where Kuroo invited me to go.. its just a coincidence, right?'

"Oh yeah, Yamaguchi, I forgot to ask, but I need your number for the volleyball group chat," Suga informed, "I thought it would be fun and would bring us closer together."

"Oh yeah, sure," Yamaguchi nodded, "(insert number here)."

Tsukishima choked on his water, 'thats Kuroo's number though.. no I must be wrong.'

He pulled out his phone to check. No.. Don't tell me.. I've been texting Yamaguchi?!

'I mean, it shouldn't change much right? It just changes who I'm texting.. but my feelings should still be the same.. I still like how dorky he is.. and Yamaguchi is pretty cute.. the issue is that he thinks I'm a girl so.. he might not like me..'

"Tsukishima, good job today," Suga walked up to him.

"Oh, you too," Tsukishima wanted to walk away, but didn't, "hey, Suga, what do you do when the person you're going out with isn't who you thought they were.."

"Oh, are you going out with someone too?" Suga asked.

"Uh yeah," Tsukishima admitted, "I thought the person who asked me out was someone I knew, but its actually someone else I knew."

"Oh, you don't have to go out with them."

"But... is it weird that your feelings are the same, but for the person it actually is?"

"I don't think so...?"

"I'll be specific," he mumbled to Suga so no one can hear, "i thought I've been texting Kuroo... you know... from Nekoma.. but it turns out I've been texting Yamaguchi, but he thinks its a girl he's met."

"Oh... I'm not sure, but-"

"Nevermind, im going to go, dont say anything," he walked off to avoid talking to Yamaguchi who had been walking up to the two.

"Did I do something wrong?" Yamaguchi asked Suga.

"Nope, not at all."
