Tobi !

"Hey, Tobio," she greeted, coming up beside the setter at the vending machine. He jumped slightly at the sound of her voice.

"Do you want anything?" he asked her rather timidly, she shook her head.

"I couldn't ask that of you," she was already looking through her bag for her own money before he held out his hand in front of her, with a carton of milk trapped under his fingers. "Oh, thank you..." she smiled, a small blush coming to her cheeks. She was already captivated by Kageyama having an incredible amount of potential on the court, but she found herself liking him in a different way the more they talked outside of practices. When she was managing for the Kitagawa Daiichi volleyball team, the team would talk to her but wouldn't make as much as an attempt to talk to her so much outside of practice, unlike Kageyama. She stuck the straw into the milk, holding it with both hands still lost in her own world.

That's so sweet of him.
He's not as tall or Grown-up looking as Kindaichi or Kunimi, but he's still super cute.

She glanced towards him, to which he smiled at her and she glanced away quickly feeling her face grow hotter.

It was a rainy evening and the first years were cleaning the gym while the managers supervised. Kageyama was in the supply closet, putting away mops when he saw Kindaichi pitch an umbrella in Kageyama's direction. Kindaichi's attention was focused elsewhere, which left Kageyama rather confused. Kageyama's gaze followed Kindaichi as he approached [ y/n ].

"Hey, uh, I forgot an umbrella, Care if I share with you?" he leaned over slightly, she glanced up at him, "We live in the same direction too,"

"Of course," she smiled and finished knotting her laces, "You don't have to ask, silly," she stood up, popping open her umbrella and holding up higher for him to stand under.

Kageyama had just finished putting away the remainder of what was left in the gym in time to see Kindaichi and [ y/n ] walking together, standing awfully close under one umbrella.

[ y/n ] sat impatiently in her desk, she was waiting for her class to end so she could meet up with Kageyama during their break. It felt like forever had passed when the bell finally dismissed the class and she was the first one out of the room. She made her way to the regular spot by the vending machines, where Kageyama was already waiting for her. In one hand, he held a carton of milk and in the other, another one for her. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders from behind, surprising him with the hug.
