There's one Friday after school if you can make it . Hayashi and I are going to watch it .

It was break time and no one came to get her, she didn't mind too much. [ y/n ] stood up from her desk and walked out of the classroom. She walked around campus and towards the vending machine. She pressed her finger into the buttons and watched as the juice fell from the machine with a thud. She held the Carton of Orange juice in both hands and rested her back against the wooden post nearby, sliding down to the floor. It was quiet and mostly empty in that strip of the campus, she was glad to have some silence. It was not too long of a silence but she enjoyed it nonetheless.

"You better not be asleep," [ y/n ]'s eyes fluttered open; she hadn't even realized she closed them
"I'm awake," she sighed, turning her head to look at Fujimoto, who was sitting on the floor next to her. "How long has it been since break started?"
"about 8 minutes," He answered, standing up and offering her his hand. She took his hand and helped herself up, standing right up beside him leaning against him. "Are you tired?"
"Just a tad," She closed her eyes for a moment, "were you guys waiting for me?"
"Yeah, That's why I came out to find you," His arm snaked around her shoulders, "There's not much left of break though. What class do you have next?"
"Yukimura-Sensei so, life science,"
"Oh that's a fun class," he laughed as they turned the corner.
"You could say that," she glanced down at the floor, watching their feet walk in-step with each other. The walk fell into a comfortable silence for both of them. With each step, she took a breath, focusing on the light scuffing of both their feet.
"Hello, Yukimura-Sensei!"
"I already told you, kids, call me Ami-Sensei!" Ami corrected and smiled at the two as they walked into the classroom, "you're early as ever. Hey, Fujimoto-Kun!"
"Will we need anything special today for class, Sensei?" [ y/n ] stepped away from Fujimoto and set her bag down beside her desk in the front of the classroom.
"Nope. Not today,"
"Hey, I'm gonna go ahead and go to my class. See you at practice, [ n/n ]-Chan!" Fujimoto placed one of his hands on her shoulder, he smiled one last time at her and nodded to Ami before leaving the room.
"Bye-bye, Fuji!"
"So, you two are close...?" Ami said with a small grin playing on her lips. [ y/n ] giggled and shook her head.
"Not like that, but yeah, we're close." She earned another smirk and a knowing look from her teacher before more students filled the room and class started.

She was the first one out of her final class of the day. She delicately glided down the halls, walking to class 1-3, Fujimoto's Class. She faltered for a mere second when Kageyama walked out of the classroom, her eyes shot away from him, remembering her meltdown during break, only a few days prior. He didn't look at her and she was far enough from the doorway that it would be easy for him to not see her. Once he was out of sight she bounded into the classroom.

"Fuji~" she hopped onto the desk in front of his own in the center of the class. "You ready?"
"Oh, so you're coming to get me now, huh?" He nodded, grinning slyly at her. She hopped off the desk and they walked out of the class together. She leaned against him, snuggling her head into his shoulder.
"I'm still tired," she hummed followed by a short giggle.
"I bet you are," He wrapped his arm around her sides, supporting her as they walked to practice, where Choko was already waiting for her.
"Heyo!" She chirped, bounding to the two, [ y/n ] mumbled her hello.
"She's tired," Fujimoto chuckled, shifting his shoulder and pushing it into [ y/n ]'s back.
"Ouch, alright, alright-" she stood up straight and crossed her arms. Choko giggled at them, shooting a smirk at [ y/n ]. A vibration was sent through [ y/n ] from her phone, bringing her attention to it.

From: Katou sho
Hey, you said you wanted to go to a Seijoh match, right?
There's one Friday after school if you can make it. Hayashi and I are going to watch it.

She unconsciously smiled widely. She quickly typed out her response and sent it.

"Do we have anything after school on Friday?" She asked the two in front of her, they exchanged glances.
"No, why?" Choko cocked her eyebrows, leaning forward.
"I'm going to a volleyball match!" She has a big dumb smile on her face. She was going to see her junior high friends and she was beyond excited.
"You're excited, huh?" Choko asked once Fujimoto was dragged away for practice.
"I get to see the volleyball team I managed in junior high play again, of course, I'm excited."
"ooh~ Can I join you?" Choko asked her, excited for her friend. [ y/n ] nodded to which Choko cheered, "yay! I'm excited!"

"Fuji should go with us," Choko said suddenly, pulling her shirt over her head.
"Hm?"
"To the volleyball match Friday, We should bring Fuji; and Hiroki too, if that's fine with you,"
"Oh! Of course, they can come, the more the merrier!" [ y/n ] giggled, shoving the rest of her stuff into her bag, while Choko waited by the girls changing room's door. "We'll have to ask them, of course,"

Choko noded and cracked the door open, letting [ y/n ] come out before her. The recently mentioned boys were already waiting for them by the gym.

"Hey, Hiroki, Fuji!" Choko bounded happily to the boys, "Are you doing anything on Friday??"
"Depends," Fujimoto chuckled.
"Yeah, we're free," Tsukuda nudged Fujimoto with his elbow, digging it into his ribs, "Why do you ask?"
"There's a practice match at Seijoh- for volleyball- and we want you to come with us!"
"Like a double date!" Choko added giggling at the first years in front of her, who just exchanged blank glances.
"Yeah, That's good with me,"
"Same here," Tsukuda agreed, wrapping his arm around Choko's waist and kissing her forehead.
"Great!"

Friday couldn't have come any slower; when it did come, [ y/n ] was impatiently waiting for the end of the school day.

"[ n/n ]-Chan!" Choko called from the doorway of her classroom almost immediately after the final bell rang.
"Wow, you got here quick,"
"I wanted to walk together," she smiled, slightly embarrassed.
"I'm glad," [ y/n ] hummed, turning her head to her senpai as the two walked down the hallway to collect the rest of their group.
"What team are they going to be playing, do you know?"
"Nope, Kato didn't tell me." [ y/n ] shrugged before inhaling sharply, "You'll get to meet my friends though,"
"Ooh! Yay!" Choko began to skip as she walked, pushing open the door to Tsukuda's classroom. "Babe! C'mon!" she called out to him, making him jump in his seat.
"Alright, let's go," He joined the girls, wrapping his arm around Choko's waist, "you're so impatient, babe,"
"Shut up~ I am not," Choko giggled, nuzzling into him as he wrapped his other arm around her.
"C'mon lovebirds," [ y/n ] laughed at the couple, "save that for later,"

Fujimoto joined the group as [ y/n ] was speaking and they all began their walk to Aoba Johsai Highschool. The walk was the opposite of quiet, as it normally would be.

"Have any of you, other than [ n/n ]-Chan, even been to a volleyball match?" Choko asked, turning around in front of the group, "Or am I the only one that hasn't?"
"You're definitely not the only one," Fujimoto added, an awkward smile on his face, "I don't know a damn thing about Volleyball,"
"Aw," [ y/n ] giggled, "I'll walk you through it, it's pretty easy to understand."
"Oh, good," Tsukuda spoke this time, "you're the only one who knows how Volleyball works."
"Damn, okay~" [ y/n ] shook her head with a sarcastic sigh, "You all agreed to come and not one of you know a thing about it."
