Obviously ! I'd Rather Die Than Miss Seeing Him Again ,

Fujimoto whistled as the group approached Aoba Johsai, marveling at the differences in the school's building compared to Karasuno's. [ y/n ] led the group into the building, trying to find where Kato had said she would wait for them. They eventually were lead to a hallway outside the gym labeled 'Boy's Volleyball Gym'

"[ Y/N ]~~!!" Hayashi shouted down the hallway, both arms waving in the air.
"Hayashi~!" [ y/n ] stuck her arms in the air, waving back. Hayashi hugged her as soon as she was close enough to. They stayed like that for several seconds, their embrace not loosening in the slightest. When their embrace loosened, she messily tucked her hair behind her ears and held a hand out signaling to her Karasuno friends, "These are my friends from Karasuno,"
"Oh, hello! My name's Hayashi!"
"Aw, [ n/n ]-Chan! You didn't tell me your friends were so cute!" Choko giggled, her energy matching Hayashi's, "I'm Choko Ryouta, this is my boyfriend Tsukuda Hiroki, and that's Fujimoto Nao!"
"Pleasure to meet you!"
"I'm Kato Sho, it's a pleasure to meet you as well." Kato bowed, being polite as always.
"Kindaichi told me to tell you to stay after the game; he wants to talk to you,"
"Obviously! I'd rather die than miss seeing him again," [ y/n ] joked, The two boys of the group exchanged confused glances at the unknown name but stayed silent, "So, you never told me; who are they playing?"
"Oh yeah," Kato spoke, finally joining the conversation, "I was too caught up in how you wanted to watch them play again and didn't pay much attention to who they were playing; they're playing Karasuno,"
"Oh, okay~" [ y/n ] dragged out, "I'm here for Seijoh, not Karasuno,"
"But you go to Karasuno..?" Kato added a confused tone underlying her voice.
"That's not important! When's the match starting?"
"Really soon, we should go up now."

Hayashi glanced up at the wall clock for a second before leading them to the second layer of the volleyball gym, where both teams had already begun their warmups. [ y/n ] unconsciously smiled when her eyes landed on Kindaichi as he jumped and spiked a ball.

"Oh my- it's been way too long," She whispered under her breath, the others heard her still.
"But if you still managed volleyball you wouldn't have met us," Choko added, side-eyeing her.
"And that wouldn't have been fun; because I'm obviously your favorite~" Fujimoto teased her lightly, resting against her purposefully putting most of his weight on her.
"Mhm, sure~" [ y/n ] sarcastically agreed, using both of her hands to shove him off of her.
"Hey, you two, stop flirting; the game's starting."
"We weren't-" [ y/n ] was silenced mid-sentence and let out a huff before her attention turned to the practice match.

Her eyes studied each player's movements and techniques as she had done so many times before. She even took mental notes of improvements out of the habit she formed in her early junior high years. The first set of the match seemed to pull towards Karasuno's favor but [ y/n ] noticed a certain setter wasn't on the court. By the looks of it, she knew he was supposed to be on the court; since Seijoh's Ace was none other than Iwaizumi Hajime and she knew as well as anyone else, wherever Iwaizumi went, Oikawa Toru would be there too. She didn't think too hard on where Oikawa was and continued her absentminded observations. She caught herself watching Karasuno's side of the court as well, she was amazed by the quick attack that Hinata was able to do with Kageyama's sets. In junior high, no one was able to spike his 'royal sets'. Hinata had told her that he was a Middle Blocker so she assumed he could jump, but he surprised her with how high- it was like he was flying. She was still impressed by Kageyama's precisely accurate sets. The match ended with Karasuno winning straight sets for that practice match.

"That was... Incredibly interesting," Fujimoto muttered after the final point was scored by Karasuno.
"I told you," [ y/n ] said, nodding, "A little surprising too," the sudden thought of her meeting up with kindaichi made her demeanor change entirely.
"Wow! Are all volleyball matches like this??" Choko asked, obviously very interested in what she had watched.
"Pretty much all of them, yeah," [ y/n ] answered before whipping around to face Hayashi and Kato, "Let's go!" Both of them laughed at their friend acting like immature for once.
"Okay~!" Hayashi announced, leading the way down from the second floor of the gym.

As soon as they reached the first floor, [ y/n ] took the lead and she quickly and quietly apologized for dragging them along since they didn't know any of the Seijoh players. As they came close to Aoba Johsai's team, [ y/n ] was already separated from the group.

"[ y/n ]!?" Kindaichi exclaimed upon seeing her, a wide smile coming to his face. [ y/n ] practically tackled him with a hug, he squeezed his arms around her and took a single step backward to not lose balance. She was lifted off of the ground easily, causing a loud giggle to escape her lips.
"Kindaichi~~" Her voice was muffled by his shoulder as she hugged him tighter, her legs kicked the air ever so lightly before they loosely wrapped around his waist to prevent her from falling. When her feet returned to the solid ground she had a large smile on her face. Choko, Fujimoto, and Tsukuda's eyes traveled between the two in front of them, obviously confused by their reunion. "Oh right! Kindaichi, these are my friends from Karasuno; Choko, Fujimoto, and Tsukuda." [ y/n ] used her hands to signal to them, "Guys, this is Kindaichi,"
"Oh, so you're Kindaichi?" Choko said slyly, "[ n/n ]-Chan's told me a lot about you~" [ y/n ] shook her head, chuckling lightly. Choko bowed only her head and giggled yet again, "I'm just kidding! my name's Choko!"

Saying goodbye to Hayashi and Kato wasn't very easy for [ y/n ]. Let's just say there was lots of hugging and chatting to prolong the goodbyes. While the Karasuno group was waiting, [ y/n ] was saying her final goodbyes.

"You have to text me~" Hayashi clung to [ y/n ]'s arm.
"I will, I will!" [ y/n ] rested her head against the top of her friend's head, "We should get going, they probably don't want to stand there all day,"
"okay~" Hayashi grumbled, letting go of her arm.
"We'll see you around, [ y/n ],"
"See ya!" She waved one final time before skipping back to her school mates, "sorry about how long that took,"
"It's fine! Your friends are really nice!"

[ y/n ] smiled at Choko's comment, agreeing with her. They turned the corner, nearing the exit, their conversation had changed to the match; mostly [ y/n ] walking them through the positions and their roles, occasionally throwing the player's names into the mix. Just as Choko was talking about how tall all of the players were; someone, who was roughly the same height as Fujimoto, wedged their way past them, pushing into Fujimoto's shoulder; causing him to stumble backward a few steps.

"watch it... asshole,"

Fujimoto grumbled as it was evident whoever ran into him did it on purpose. [ y/n ] turned on her shoulder to look at who had run into him. She instinctively grabbed onto the sleeve around Choko's wrist, getting her attention. Kageyama was only about two meters away from them, glaring at, what was assumed to be, the back of Fujimoto's head. Choko cocked her eyebrows and [ y/n ] glanced back at Kageyama and Fujimoto before returning her eyes to Choko's dark ones, trying to tell her that's who ran into him. Choko's mouth opened and she began to mouth the words

'Is that Kageyama?'

To which [ y/n ] nodded rapidly, her grip releasing Choko's sleeve. Choko glanced back at Kageyama, giving him and up-down look before promptly turning back around.

"Looks like an ass to me,"

Choko mumbled, trying to make [ y/n ] feel better but it didn't help. Just before they left the campus building, [ y/n ] turned back over her shoulder watching Kageyama walk away with Hinata.
She wanted to talk to him, and she hated how much she missed being around him all the time.
