Today is doomsday, I found it doomsday first, I'm not ready to face the crowd, second, I'm not comfortable in wearing stilettos---sucks, I might make an error and trip over. Third, My sore throat gone worst and I'm still voiceless. Fourth, consider the hangover caused by the last night. Ugggh ang sakit ng ulo ko.
"Try to speak Maggy" Miho ordered. I tiredly tried to speak and still no voice came out.
"Paano na yan Percy?!" Jack anxiously asked the girl whose sitting chilly while massaging her temples. Got a hangover too.
"Ako na lang magsasalita para sa kaniya" Percy said, how can be this girl so calm?!
"Pwede ba yun?" Jack threw for a question again.
"It can't be" Creed said.
"Isipin niyo nalang Maggy will become a legendary contestant, siya lang ang pinaka unang sasabak sa pageant na walang boses. Diba?"
Hindi ko maiwasang mangamba lalo nang sabihin iyon ni Percy.

I survived the nerve-wracking production number and it's now the turn for the introduction number.
"Hey Maggy, smile" Percy reminded me nang nasa likod na kami ng backstage.
"How?" I typed in my phone and asked cluelessly.
"What the? Are you being sarcastic or?" Percy laughed, perhaps she thought it was just a joke.
"Come on, I'm not kidding around. There's only one contestant left and it will be my turn. Quick Percy!"
Wala nang oras tinawag na ako, halos ipikit ko na ang mga mata ko sa takot habang palabas sa backstage pero nang makita ko si Jack na sumisigaw, nanguguna pa sa pag cheer para sa akin ang iingay nila pero just by looking at each of their faces screaming my number and name at the top of their lungs, calms me somehow.
Kinakabahan akong matama ang tingin ko sa mga mapanghusgang mata ng tao, buti nalang at narito sila, if it's not because of them maybe earlier ago I already left this suffocating place.
Naramdaman ko namang nasa likod ko na si Percy, wearing a black-velvet lacy dress. Everyone in the crowd gasped out of surprised.
Percy stood next to me and she introduced for me just like what we'd planned, still my eyes are fixed on my friends' direction.
