It was a normal boring night, the heat was getting to Azari more than usual, his long white hair tied back into a bun, his pants were rolled up to create shorts and his shirt had been removed. The young elf was prancing around within the depths of the forest, pretty flowers in colours of blue and green surrounding him, the only light he had was coming from the moon and a few glow flies he had caught when visiting the more shallow areas of the forest.
Azari took a deep breath and sighed heavily, he was tired of being alone. His family had left some time ago leaving only Azari behind with his thoughts. The male decided that tonight would be much different to every other, he got up, put his shirt back on and walked to the entrance of the forest which had changed considerably since the last time he'd been there.
The entrance used to consist of bright yellow grains of sand which Azari had played in once as a child but that was some time ago and times had changed clearly. He scanned his surroundings; a river, a bridge which led to a road so Azari followed the path with some speed, baring in mind he did not wear any shoes so he was bare foot running across the bridge.
The bridge came to an end, it had led him onto a path which he followed for some time, bringing him to a small kind of town he'd never saw before. The one thing that had caught his round Hazel eyes was a bright sign which read 'PUB'. The male took the leap of faith and decided to walk inside, pushing the double doors open he waltzed inside, scanning the room he could see some of the what seemed to be regulars of the place all sitting around having a laugh getting into a drunken state of some sort, he turned to the left to see the bar, the bartender having a laugh with a few customers. One person in particular caught Azaris eye though, a young male, his beautiful bubblegum pink hair matched perfectly with his bright baby pink eyes.
Azari's jaw was practically on the floor until he realised and closed it, remembering to breathe at the same time. He was truly taken back by the other mans beauty, the small elf decided to walk over to the bar and sat a few seats away from the mysterious pink figure sitting before him who was sipping on a wine with a strange sparkle to it.
The elf fiddled with his fingers as he ordered a large glass of water, he wasn't one to drink alcoholic beverages, he had seen the effects of alcohol his whole life because of his mother.
"H-hi.. my name Is Azari!" the young man spoke with little to no confidence but had tried introducing himself to the taller man.
"Hi cutie, i'm Killian" he said in response, revealing his wings to Azari
"you're a Fairy?! I haven't seen your kind in some time... actually a very long time it has to of been 100 years by now maybe even longer!" Azari rambled on not realising he was doing so, he had a bad habit of talking too much when he felt comfortable with the topic of conversation.
Killian rolled his eyes and downed his wine which had a dash of pixie dust mixed in "Yes, Yes i am indeed a fairy, thanks for noticing shorty" the males eyes had turned a shade darker as he teased Azari about his height
"shut it! i could beat you in climbing trees any day considering my home is the forest" he mumbled, pouting softly
"oh? I once lived in the forest, but alas times have changed, now i live in the town here, making myself known and trusting no one" Killian said letting out a small chuckle, ordering another glass of wine.
Azari watched Killian as he spoke, the young elf was in awe with how beautiful one man could really be and he was the one speaking with him. no one else, all Azari could see was the two of them together. His heart was beating so fast it felt as though it would break through his chest at any given moment. "yes, it been some time since i have been out of the forest actually, this is all new to me in fact.." Azari sighs softly, staring at his glass which he had not touched yet.
Killian admired the male before him, his eyes now a bright yet dusty shade of pink, he sorted his hair and smiled at Azari. "why don't we get out of here? maybe we can get to know each other out of this place and you can show me how much the forest has now changed, i'd love to go back home actually, just see how much has changed. So what do you say?" the pink haired fairy asked, his voice was soft, much higher than most males Azari knew.
"yeah, okay then! lets go" Azari was excited, he jumped up out of his seat, grabbing Killian by the hand and ran out of the pub happily, pulling the poor fairy behind him. Off into the starry night...
