Since the performance line up started, things were becoming a lot more peaceful over at Soobin's booth, probably because most of the students went to watch. 

Soobin went over to one of his close seniors, Taehyung, and asked him to cover for him for a few minutes. 

"Hyung, think you could cover for me? Beomgyu and Huening's items are up next, and I don't wanna miss it." 

"Sure, could you also get a slush before you go? The heat's getting to me." 

Soobin quickly got to the booth that was selling the slushies and ran back to his booth before running back out to the main stage area, sitting down on one of the empty chairs, waiting for his friends to come out on stage. 

"Thank you for that amazing performance! Next up we have our guitar ensemble and our school band, so give it up for them!" The emcee announced and Soobin screamed at the mention of his friends' clubs. 

The members of the guitar club slowly walked out in an orderly manner, and Soobin could easily spot his cousin. Beomgyu looked around in his seat and managed to find his older cousin making eye contact, and soobin mouthed a small 'fighting' as Beomgyu felt his nervousness slowly fade away. 

Soobin thoroughly enjoyed his friends' performance and managed to embarrass them by screaming their names at the top of his lungs. 

The both quickly ran up to Soobin and he gave them a warm hug while complimenting how great they were on stage. 

"Let's stay for the next few performances, hyung. My friend is performing a solo next under vocal- oh here he is. Go Kang Taehyun!"  Huening Kai screams and both Soobin and Beomgyu focus their attention on the boy on stage, who smiled hearing Huening shout. 

Soobin was in awe, hearing the boy sing. He noticed that it was Nathan Sykes' 'Over and Over Again'. It suited him very well and his voice was very angelic and soothing. Without him knowing, the song ended and Soobin applauded loudly, with tears in his eyes. I mean, what can you say? It was so good and he almost cried because of his voice. 

"You better introduce me to that kid, I need to know his singing secrets." Soobin joked, and Huening Kai just chuckled and nodded, but laughed harder when he saw Soobin's glossy eyes.

The next performer came on stage, and Soobin recognised him. He was in the same year as he was, and knew him because solely because they were also in homeroom together but never spoke much due to them being in different faculties, but they'd give each other a smile when they would pass by each other in the hallways. 

And that boy's name was Lee Haechan. He performed his item, and Soobin with his two other friends' went starstruck hearing him hit a high note. Soobin swears that it could send you to heaven, and he's not even exaggerating. Soobin even gave him a standing ovation once he was done. 

It was then the dance team's turn to perform, and Soobin was excited. The crowd roared along with him when the dancers went up on stage with their outfits, looking super cool and the swag oozing out of them.

Soobin was also jamming along to the song, constantly shouting whenever the dancers did a flashy move. Somehow, one person caught his eye. To be specific, a blue haired boy caught his attention. 

Soobin scans him from head to toe, slowly frowning as he can't seem to recall where he has seen this boy before. When the song finally ends, the three friends all stood up together with the rest of the crowd, clapping and screaming for the dance team. 

Huening Kai quickly pulls both of the cousins and led them back stage to introduce them to Taehyun. 

"Taehyun-ah!" Huening Kai shouts out loud, catching the red head's attention. He looked over at Kai and waved lightly before walking up to him. 

"Hey! You did great up there just now! This hyung over here cried because of you." Huening exposes Soobin, who turned red and slapped his back playfully and Taehyun only laughs. 

"Thank you for listening! I'm glad you enjoyed it."

"Ah yes, this bunny looking guy here is Soobin hyung, and this guy over here is Beomgyu hyung." Huening introduced, and the two bowing and waved awkwardly at Taehyun. "And my hyungs, this is Taehyun! One of my close friends and partner for one of our classes." 

"Hello, I'm Taehyun, a friend of Huening Kai's. I'm in his partner during a collab lesson and I'm in media arts."
