My face suddenly falls down.
"W-what do you know...?" I ask, hoping it's not what I think it is.
"That the experiment failed."
"Failed? How did it fail if I'm standing right here?"
"Listen, Ms. Riches. I know you're not supposed to act the way you do."
"What do you mean?"
"Your expression, for example when your father touches you. You aren't supposed to feel or do anything, yet you looked really upset when he.. checked you."
"Uhm- I- uh.." I have a blackout.
"It's okay Ms. Riches, I won't tell a soul."Okay Amy there's no point in denying it anymore. I take a deep breath.
"How can I trust you?" I ask.
"I don't know. But I swear, your secret is safe with me."
"Dylan, you don't even know the details of it, how can you be so sure it's something you will keep to yourself?"
"You're right, I don't know the details, but you can tell me, okay? You can trust me. I've seen what your father does to you, and believe me when I say I'm on your side. I promise." He sounds genuine. "Well, Ms. Riches I won't bother you anymore. As soon as you're ready to tell me your story I'll be here to listen, alright? Goodnight." He turns around and starts walking away.
"Dylan, wait!"
"Yes, Ms. Riches?"
"Tomorrow evening we'll talk."
"Are you sure? I don't want to pressure you."
"I'm sure. I really need to talk to someone about it and you're the only one who can hear it."
"Okay. Tommorow then."
"And Dylan?"
"Yeah?"
"You can call me Amy when my father's not around."
He smiles. "Goodnight Amy."
"Goodnight Dylan.""God damnit, Amy! You're so fucking stupid!!! How could you mess this up for fuck's sake?!" I yell at myself when the door is closed.
"Ugh! This is the last thing I need right now! Fuck!!!" I keep yelling.
Then, I hear a knock on my door. Dylan comes in.
"Amy, relax. I swear, I won't tell anyone, you have nothing to worry about." He reassures me.
"I just- I feel bad that I messed it up. I always hid it well and now you come and within two weeks you already figure out what's going on." I stop myself from crying.
"Well, maybe that's because I'm super smart, unlike your father who has no clue." He laughs and I join him.
"Thanks Dylan."
"For what?"
"Just... For being here."
"Of course Amy."
"Goodnight."
"You too."God. I feel... Relieved? Yeah. Finally I have someone to talk to. But how can I trust Dylan? Well, it's not like he gave me a reason not to, right? Ugh, I'll just charge myself and go to bed, it has been an intense evening, and tomorrow's gonna be even more intense. Tomorrow I will finally share my story with someone. And that someone is my... Crush.

Author's note:
Okay guys, am I the only one who's relieved that Dylan finally knows? I know I said I was rooting for Dylan not finding out be he is just so... Cute!
I'm kinda nervous about how Amy's gonna tell her story to Dylan, but I'm sure it'll be alright.
Well, I hope you liked this chapter and if you did, please support my story <3
