As I review tonight's events, I suddenly realize I forgot to ask Dylan about the door. I was so drawn to him and to our conversation that It completely slipped my mind. Well, I'll ask him tomorrow.

"Amy, bring me a beer!"
Ugh. Good morning everyone...
After I put on a lilac shirt and a black short skirt I hear Dylan's knock on the door.

"Amy? Are you decent?"
"Yeah, come in."
"Hey. You still up for our uh.."
"Date?" I say and chuckle.
"Well, I guess you could call it a date. But I actually wanted our first date to be fancier than in your room. Uh- I mean um- Shit. I'll shut up now."
I laugh. I can't believe he just said that. Does it mean he is interested in me?
"Haha are you serious? You want to date a robot?!" I laugh even harder.
"If this robot is you then I really wouldn't mind..."
Aww this is the cutest thing I've ever heard!!!
"Why, thank you! Let's go, so I can finish up my tasks and we can go to our... Date."
"Let's hurry up then!"
I can hear how eager he is. It's so sweet. I can't believe he is so open with me, and he doesn't even know me that well. He knows me better than anyone else, though...

We go downstairs, I get my father a beer and do all my other tasks, and then me and Dylan go upstairs to my room. As we walk in, I notice flowers, candles and snacks are beautifully organized on bed and all over the room.
"What- how did you- when?!" I ask, obviously surprised by the nice setting.
"Well, I did say I wanted something fancier... I hope it's okay, I mean, I know it's not much but-"
"Dylan, shut up. It's perfect." It really is.
"I'm glad you like it." He smiles and we lay down on my bed.

"Here, eat some." He offers me chocolate chip cookies. They seem delicious, but I have to decline. I can't eat nor drink, because it may ruin my system. "I can't eat, actually. Thanks though."
"Oh right. I always keep forgetting that you're not human. More for me then." He says playfully and stuffs a cookie in his mouth.

"Dyl?"
"Yeah?"
"You said you're from the outside. Do you maybe uh, know where the front door is?"
"No, why? Do you want to.. run away?"
I can trust him. I just know it. I can tell him about the plan.
"Yeah... I just don't know how. I want to get the fuck out of here and chase my dreams, you know?"
"I admire that."
"You admire what?"
"That you have the courage to actually.. run away. That you'd do anything for your dreams, even risk your own life."
"I don't think that's something to admire. Everybody has dreams."
"But not everybody can risk their lives to chase them. You can, and that's admirable."
We smile at each other for a few seconds.

"What's your dream?" I'm more comfortable with him now.
"Um... I guess I don't really have one."
"Oh come on! Everybody has."
"Well, I suppose my biggest dream is love. Ugh, it sounds so cliche." He laughs.
"Maybe it is. But it's an awesome dream. I personally believe in soulmates, I mean somewhere, there's someone that is destined to be with me. And we will find our way to each other, no matter what."
"That's deep."
It really is, but I do think I have a soulmate somewhere.

"What's your dream?" He asks.
"I have many, unlike you." We both laugh.
"What are they?"
"My first and biggest dream is to find my soulmate. But to do that I need to get out of here, so this is my second dream. Then, I want to become a writer, like a real one, with published books and all. The fourth dream is to live in NYC, and the fifth is to have a family."
His face falls down as I say that.
"Hey, Dyl. It's okay, I know my life looks awful now but as soon as we run away from here it'll all be fine."
"W-we..?" He asks. Did I say we?
"Um well uh... Yeah. Don't you want to leave this place? You're stuck here too, right?"
"I do want to leave this place. But I'm afraid that it'll.. ruin your escape."
"What?! How the fuck can it ruin my- our escape?"
"You need to do it alone. I fear that if we go together we'll get caught."
"Please, Dylan. I don't want to do this alone. I- I need you."
"Aww, you need me, Amy?" He teases me.
"Ugh yes Dylan. I need help." I sound so desperate.
"I- I- Ugh. Fine. It's not like I can say no to your puppy eyes."
"Yayyy!!! Thank you thank you thank you!" I sit up and hug him, he laughs and hugs me back. Is it bad that I want to stay like this forever, on my bed in Dyl's arms?
