CHAPTER 11

╚═══*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*═══╝

The pale moonlight shone down on Minho as he climbed the cobblestone wall, gracefully landing on his feet like a cat. The lush green grass melded with his dark hunter boots, as he looked up towards the grand castle.

The wind blew gently blew through his hair as he tucked it neatly behind his ear, before quickly turning around and hastily making his way back towards the towering building.

With deathly silence he stalked closer, hiding behind a large willow tree to check his map. "It should be just.." He trailed off, looking up towards a grand window, illuminated by a golden hue. A small smirk bloomed across his face. "Perfect." Glancing around one last time, he grabbed ahold of the cold stone before slowly hoisting himself up.

Life had grown into a chore the longer he lived, and eventually everything had become just too dull for him. He no longer felt restrained with the pitiful rules humans placed up, and he did everything he could just to feel the thrill of life once more. So as he scaled the castle walls of the royal family, he was not concerned with the consequences.

Finally reaching the window, he stealthily peeked in. There buried in a bundle of blankets was the crown prince of Levanter, completely vulnerable and defenceless. His honey skin was lightly illuminated by the weak flame of the candle. A careless hand was throw across him, having lost hold upon his book. Unable to wipe the smirk from his face, he opened the window and stepped past the glass.

Stalking his way up to the bed, the vampire tried his best to suppress a chuckle. Was this really the best type of security the royal family could get? Clearly it was severely lacking since here he was, a vampire standing less than 5ft away from the royal prince.

Slowly reaching his hand out, he gently brushed a loose strand of hair out of the sleeping prince's face. He was met with a quiet groan before the royalty slowly rolled away from him, still asleep. Yet that was all Minho needed. That electric spark that symbolized the magic that laid within the boy.

"He is the one..."

"Are you sure it is actually him?" Chan questioned, skepticism painted across his pale face. "I bet you it's just Minho crushing on the cute prince" A shorter male laughed, kicking himself off from where he leaned on the wooden wall.

"Knock it off you two! I'm being serious, he is definitely the one. I felt the spark of magic from him." Minho sighed annoyed, looking at the other vampires that huddled in his humble wooden hut. "Plus that face... I could never forget that face." An awkward silence passes before Hyunjin spoke up. "Even so, he is the crown prince. It will be difficult to get his help. Willingly at least." He spoke from where he sat perched in front of a dusty mirror, staring at the nothingness that looked back at him.

"Which is exactly why I already have a plan for this." The vampire smiled triumphantly, placing his hands on his hips. "Why do I already have a bad feeling about this" The blonde made a dramatic expression.

"Are...Are they also.." Hyunjin caught himself, stopping mid sentence. A tense air bloomed among the immortals, providing them all with the answer. Minho sighed slightly, moving to stand in front of the window, gently nudging the sheer curtains aside to look out.
