BONUS CHAPTER

╚═══*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*═══╝

Being raised a hunter, Seungmin had been taught just about everything to do with vampires. Yet here he was now, completely stumped. He had done the forbidden. He had drunk the blood of a vampire. There wasn't even a guide or regulation he could follow to try to improve the situation; hunters were never meant to even interact with vampires on a neutral level, and here he had gone drinking the blood of a sadist immortal because the guilt of killing his friends drove him to the edge.

With bewildered eyes he had stared at the crimson blood that trailed down from the side of Hyunjin's slightly parted lips, the godforsaken smirk still painted on the other's face. The moonlight made the man impossibly more pale, and the realization of his actions began to drown Seungmin. He had not only trusted the words of a vampire and made a contract with him, but he had swallowed the vampire's blood through a....

The hunter could feel his face flush, and wordlessly he wrenched himself from the others grasp before running out of the vacant castle room, his feet leading him to a destination unknown.

"Aw come on Seungmin, why the long face~?" The voice of the vampire in question was the last thing he had wanted to hear. Despite 100 years passing since then, it was still a touchy subject to the prince. Even after this many years, even after sharing blood and interlocking lips with Hyunjin, Seungmin still felt... off. He supposed it was only natural, however. A century is a long time to live and continue to look like his youthful, 18 year old self. Time passing by while he remained the same. Watching as those around him died off while he remained eternally young, it was only a matter of time before the higher-ups, and his parents, figured out what exactly he had done to himself.

It had only been a nick.

Seungmin had decided to continue living his life as though he had not sentenced his friends to death, as though he had never accepted that fateful deal with the vampire in the moonlight. Hyunjin's deal.

The flag of Levanter hung among the many other nations flags within the sparring room, seemingly mocking him. Not matter where he looked, he was reminded of what he had done. Killed and betrayed. Killed and betrayed. Killed and betrayed.

It was only a matter of time before he got too careless, and when the sparring blade had fallen and managed a shallow cut along his hand, he knew his time had also come.

He had stood stunned as his sparring partner stared at the stygian ichor that bubbled to the surface of the small cut before it rolled down his tanned skin. A deafening silence had fallen over the room as everyone looked at him. They were all hunters in here, they all knew exactly what they were staring at. He was not a vampire, no, he was just a human granted with the malediction of immortality, and with that came black blood; ordinary human blood that has been contaminated by the blood of the immortal.

He had no choice but to run, and for once after the 2 years he was cursed with the blood of the immortal, he was gracious for his above-human mobility.  So while he was not as quick, as strong and cunning as a full-fledged vampire, he was still a league above an average human, including hunters.
