"You need to lift our curse of immortality"

"W-wha" Jisung could feel a blush dusting across his face, unwilling to admit how his hand sat comfortably in the vampire's.

Jeongin's mouth simply hung ajar, eyes snapping back and forth between the supernatural and the mages. "Why would we risk our safety and potentially our lives for some vampires?" Felix appeared to be the only sane one. 

"Because as princes, you are there to better the life of your peoples. I, Lee Minho, was born, raised, and turned into the hideous monster that stands before you... all within the glorious kingdom of Levanter." He slowly stood up from his knees, hands still interlocked with Jisung. 

"I..." Jisung felt his mouth go dry. Like he was stranded in the middle of a desert, and despite running towards an oasis, he never got any closer to it. "I'll help you."

"What!" The prince of Yellow Wood exclaimed, eyes growing wide. 

"He is a citizen of Levanter and... as a prince it is my duty to help my people no matter the request... or what it may cost me." 

"Wonderful!" The vampire smirked, fingers tracing along the honey skin of the prince's. "The ritual will happen tonight." 

"We will set up everything you will need, just be at the hidden cave in the enchanted forest at dusk." The dark-haired vampire instructed. Pulling the strings of their aprons tight, they opened the doors. "And this remains only between us." And with one last glance at the princes, the vampires disappeared.

A yelp is heard as Seungmin is shoved to his knees by Hyunjin. The hunter freezes up slightly as the other leans down, and in a hushed tone whispers something before disappearing himself. He sat dazed on the floor, a hand unconsciously coming up to trace his ears.

Jeongin sighed dramatically, plopping down on the grand bed behind him unceremoniously. "Man.. What did you get us into now Jisung?" Despite his words, they were spoke in a light tone. 

"You guys don't have to help... I got myself into this entanglement with the vampires, and I can solve it too."

"Hey" The blonde prince places a friendly hand upon his shoulder. "We won't let you have all the fun by yourself now." Light laughter fills the room, only to be stopped when Seungmin slowly rises from the floor.

"I should... I should leave now." He spin around abruptly, taking long steps towards the grand bedroom doors. But just before he could wrap his hands around the golden knob of the door, he was stopped by Jisung. 

Silence blossomed, and the air slowly grew awkward. "I'll uh... I'll catch you around, Seungmin." The elephant in the room remained unacknowledged as the hunter left. "I'll walk you to the stairs" Felix quickly pipped up, slightly jogging to catch up with the other.

The sound of expensive shoes clicking against the marble floors echoed within the halls, and before they knew it they had already reached the grand staircase. "Thanks for escorting me to the stairs Felix. Goodbye now." The brunette deadpanned, before taking a step down the stairs.

"Hey wait!" He called out. "Seungmin... I want you to know that Jisung still really cares about you, Jeongin too. Just because you're a hunter and we are..." He trailed off, breaking eye contact for just a moment. "Doesn't mean we don't trust you. I'm wishing that I am able to maintain that trust."
