Chapter 1

Jess pov.

So I'm laying naked next to Aiden. Yea that's probably the last person you expect me to be in bed with. It's a long crazy story but I'll tell it to you.

10 years ago Jess pov.

I'm 22, I am a leader of an amazing town along with my big brother, just saved everyone from a wither storm and yet I'm still single. I stare at myself in the mirror. My red hair clip pushing my long brown hair out of my light brown eyes. I look behind me in the mirror. My room is light purple and white. I have my purple and black armor in the corner of my room. "Jess hurry up!" I hear my brother yell. Usually he only goes to the meetings but he finally let me come today. He believes in not responsible enough. I put on my armor and go downstairs. "Your first meeting and your almost late." He shakes his head and walk away. We walk for a while until we get into another town. We walk into a big blue colored building. We walk into a room filled with leaders from multiple towns. "Ah, Jesse you made it. And I see you bought a guest." A guy with orange hair and blue eyes said. "Actually She's my sister and the other leader of beacon town." He leads me to a seat and sits down next to me. After two boring hours of pointless talking the meeting was finally over. As we entered our town Petra ran up to Jesse smothering him in a hug. They've been dating for about 6 months now. "Hey when did you get back?" She let's go of Jesse. "About a couple hours ago. Since you two were busy I had lunch." I nod to her and continue walking home. "Hey Jess wait up!" I see Lukas running up to me. I wave. "So have you heard? Petra's back." I nod. "I know it's strange. Usually she calls before she comes." He nods. I continue walking to the treasure room. " Jess come quick!" I see a guard standing in the doorway. "What is it?" I ask following him. "Two people have come to this town demanding to be let in and talking to you and Jesse. They've put up quite a fight." I run to the border with Lukas and the guard close behind. I stop dead in my tracks with Lukas doing the same. "AIDEN!?" We both yell. I quickly pull out my sword. "Wait.... I'm here to warn you." I look at him. "So harming and threatening some of my men is your way of warning me?" He opens his mouth. "Actually can we talk this over some lunch?" I stare at him. "Fine." I walk away. "Let him in. You cause any bit of mischief I'll end you where you stand." I say over my shoulder. I continue walking to my house. I take off my armor, leaving me in my teal and white shirt with my overalls. I hear a knock at my door. "Jessica?" I open the door. "Aiden wishes to speak with you. if that's alright?" I nod and follow the guard to where they're questioning him. A door is opened. "we'll be out here if you need us." They closed the door behind me. In the room is a table, two chairs, two cups, a pitcher of water, and a small light. I sit down in front of aiden. "so you wanted to speak with me?"Just as he was about to respond jesse entered the small room. "I only asked to speak jess, not jess and jesse. im not speaking unless he leaves." I stand up and grab jesse, dragging him out the room. "Look, I need you to stay out of the room." I tell him straight forward. "What? And leave you alone with him, no." He argues back. "I'm not asking you im telling you. I'm not a little kid I don't need you watching over me all the time." I say to him making sure I slam the door. I sit back down in front of Aiden. "So what did you want?"
