Six months since Gus passed

I woke up to once again the sun shining through my curtains, i turned over to grab my phone to see the date was 15th may 2018, oh my god today is the day i had forgot about it

Today is the day i'm seeing tracy, i finally persuaded my dad to let me see him live and he had agreed. I'm going with my best mate Jas who is also a fan of tracy.

I got out of bed and made my bed, i grabbed my phone and made my way downstairs to see my parents sat in the front room watching telly.

I got some cereal out of the cupboard and made myself some cereal.

"Oh Cleo, i've spoke to jas's parents and we've organised for you two to stay in a hotel because we don't really want jas or you driving back when it's dark is that okay ? The hotel is quite close to the venue i'll get jas's mum to send you the details" my mum said as she sat down across from me

"Okay thank you mum i think we're going to leave soon because it takes quite a time to get there"

"Of course sweetheart" she said kissing my forehead in the middle

I finished my breakfast and texted jas

What why do i have to drive
I'll probably fall asleep and
why now its 11 in the
morning the concert isn't
til seven in the afternoon

Because i can't be
bothered :) and i don't
wanna be late and anyway
it takes like 4 hours to drive

Okay fine i'll be ready in half an hour

I packed a bag full of clothes that i might need, even thought we're just going to a concert and staying in a hotel i still need extra pairs of clothes.

I picked out a black dress and my black airforces to wear to the concert tonight, the dress has holes down the side of it that all joined together at the bottom and along the back.

By the time i had picked out my clothes and got myself ready it had been half an hour since i had spoke to jas which meant i had to pick her up now.

"Bye mum bye dad i'm going now" i said as i walked down the stairs making them walk out of the front room to say goodbye

"Bye cleo have a nice time and stay safe" my mum said as my dad gave me a hug.

I hugged the both of them and said my goodbyes and got in my care

I drove to jas's house to see her stood on her doorstep just leaving her house with a bag on her shoulder.

"You can drive my car" i said as i opened my car door and walked around to her dropping the keys into her hand.

"Good i love your car" she smirked as we swapped seats.
