(Jake's POV)

God this base sure has has a lot of trails.

But at least I can tell when we are reaching closer and closer towards the top.

Last mission I went to it was like a loop where we go up to go down, or the other way around.

Sooner or later we reach some stone walls.

An ancient ruin?

Well its better than seeing metal walls and abandoned experiments.

Seeing all those deceased people in those large tubes.

Did dad really kidnap all those people?

Did he seriously wish to eliminate everyone in this planet?

What the hell was he trying to do?

And why did Mom even work with him?

But the more I think about it I wondered..

Was mom even in love with him?

Was she forced to stay with him?

Did he threaten her?

Did he force her?

Was she even one of them as well?

Was she a victim and I had no idea this whole time?

Did Dear Old Dad kidnap her to experiment on her too?

Me- "Hey Sherry?"

Sherry turned to look at me.

Sherry- "What is it Jake?"

Me- "Did What's-His-Face tell you how long ago....Wesker died?"

Sherry- "Why do you want to know?"

Me- "Just wondering is all..."

Sherry nodded then checked her little device.

Sherry- "From what Chris told me...He died on March 2009.."

Me- "3 years ago....Damn it..."

Sherry- 'What is it?"

Me- "Mom disappeared 4 years ago....what if he...and them.."

Sherry- "I don't think Wesker would do that."

Me- "Do you even know him Sherry? Have you met my father before? Do you even see the mess he has caused in this world??"

Sherry- "I know Wesker was done awful and unthinkable things but if he wanted to hurt your mother then he would've done so already."

Me- "Maybe he did and that's why mom got away from him!"

Sherry- "But from what Chris has told me, nothing got passed Wesker."

Me- "Chris has said a lot of bullshit!"

Sherry- "But he never lied Jake! Sometimes the truth isn't what you want to hear, but I think I would much rather hear it."

Me- "Why are you so quick to defend him?!"

Sherry- "Because you are the one who started bickering about him!"

I waved my hand off then stared off into the distance.

Me- "What if Weskers not dead..."

Sherry sighed.

Sherry- "I think we would've heard by now if he wasn't."

Me- "Who knows, mom was pretty good on keeping all this a secret."

Sherry- "Maybe she didn't know.."
