My eyes widened and my jaw dropped a little. With the way every guy in the class has been approaching me tonight, I figure the guys have some dumb bet on the new chick. I feel a frown start to come on me and Todoroki raises an eyebrow as if to ask "What just happened?".
"Oi! IcyHot!" I feel a guy put an arm around my shoulder and lean on me a little bit. I don't even have to look at his face to tell he's drunk, but when I do turn to him, his bright blonde hair pokes me in the eye and I push him back. He still has his arm on me, but at least his legs are supporting him instead of my own body.
"Now what, are you, doing, talking to the lady of the night, like that?" He was separating his words unnecessarily now, and it was kind of bothering me now. This time I pushed him off me completely making a little bit of his drink splash him, only turning around to see Todoroki had disappeared into the night. Great
"Bitch! You got me wet!" He shouted. I'm not frightened, but my old bullies did much worse to me than just yelling, and if he expects me to be intimidated by that, he's wrong. Suddenly he leans in towards my ear and grabs my hips, forcing me into him. I don't move my arms at all, in fact, they kind of just flail around as my mind tries to figure a way out. "Maybe... for revenge... I can do the same in return" he seductively whispers.
"OH HELL NO!" I yell loud enough that the people near us hear it over the blasting music and begin to stare. I push him away the hardest I can, causing him to fall on the ground and get soaked in his alcohol. He was leaning on his elbows, looking up at me angry with widened eyes. I bend over slightly, infuriated. "YOU WOMANIZING BASTARD!" I shout as I slap him across the face.
Suddenly the music in the room stops and I look up to realize that everyone's eyes are now on me. I said what I had to, what I want every guy to know about tonight. I don't like guys who are willing to go to extremes for whatever dumbass bet they made, and I just proved it. Seeing as every guy in the room had a different expression of shock than the girls, they knew it too. And it was confirmed in my mind that they all had a bet.
I'm now overwhelmed from embarrassment that I quickly get flustered and run off into the nearest bathroom at full speed. I hear mumbles of "Do you think she's ok?" and "I hope he didn't hurt her at all," from girls all over the room, and a couple of guys who I'm guessing weren't in on the bet. I hear the mumbles of the rest of the guys however saying "Do you think she knows?" and "Damn, so he's not winning this time for sure." Makes me sick.
As soon as my feet reach the tile of the floor in the bathroom I slam the door and sit up on the counter, bawling into my hands. The music starts playing again after about ten minutes, and I begin to cry louder, hoping that no one would hear me. I don't like anyone to see me crying because I don't want anyone to think I'm anymore weak than them. I'm not that little girl the older people bullied in elementary school anymore, so I'm not going to have people think of me as weak.
*Knock Knock Knock*
No, no no, no! Why does the goddamn door have to talk now! Can the thing just not keep its mouth shut and leave my emotions alone? I spring up from the counter. I'm all blotchy and red around my eyes, a side affect from crying. I'm starting to think my face is allergic to my tears. Anyway, I need a plan.
"Go away!" I yelled at whoever was on the other side of the door. Go away, that's it. That's all I've got.
"No, Anna. Open the door." Ugh, you're stubborn. I slowly walk up, hoping the blemishes on my face dissolve in the time I finally turn it. I carefully creak the door open, looking to see who it was. This green, fluffy haired boy was holding up one arm above him on the door way, leaning in a way that he was now towering over me. It probably didn't help that he looked really tired either. "Hey," he said softly. "Mind if I come in?"
I nod and turn my body, making room for him to walk in the door. He sits on the edge of the tub and I sit on top of the toilet cover. Minus well get comfortable, it looks like he wants to talk about something anyway.

"Are you okay? What happened back there with Kacchan?" He asked. He was looking at me with sad, glistening eyes, almost concerned. Nah, he didn't know anything about me. There's no way.
"Um..." I look down at my hands, hanging my head, and twiddling my thumbs. "It's actually really complicated. Are you sure you want to know?" He nodded. I spent the next hour talking to him about the situation I was in and the flashbacks it gave me of when, one time, the girls bullying me at school told me my best friend wanted to meet me up on the roof, but when I got there, some random guy my age pinned me back and... did things to me. I still don't like talking about it. I feel ashamed and embarrassed, and the things that "kacchan" said to me tonight, reminded me of the things that cruel boy did. That's why I acted out like that.
My hands come to an abrupt stop, interrupting their fiddling, when two hands cup them together, their thumbs rubbing all of my fingers as if to soothe me. I look at the person cupping my hands, crouching down in front of me. He stares at my hands as if their my hope, and he's trying to protect it. Suddenly, he looks up at me, and we hold each others gaze.
"It's okay Anna..." He looks sincere and a small smile corners his mouth. "That's terrible, but I promise that as long as your around all of us, nothing like that will ever happen to you again. And, as for Kacchan, he can actually be really caring at sometimes. I think he just covers all that up by pretending to be an asshole so it makes him seem less weak to people. But regardless, he means you no harm in the long run. Not like that." I smile brightly after hearing those words come out of his mouth. He really is so kind and knows exactly the right advice, the things I need to here. He told me earlier, after I explained about the situation, that he wasn't part of the bet, and thought it was really weird to bet money on a person's heart, so I had no doubt in his kindness towards me being sincere.
"So what do ya say," He stood up and held out his hand towards me, who was still sitting down. "Back to the chaos?" I giggled a little and gripped his hand tightly as he pulled me out of the bathroom and we ran down the hall, back into the music-filled and light hearted-atmosphered room. Time to change the road you're on, I thought.
