"What'd you mean by you didn't ask for any of this? Don't you want to be here?" The purple-haired boy asks.
"It's not that I don't want to be here, cause I do, but I was forced into all of this when I was found here. I didn't ask for it, I didn't have a choice because I had nowhere else to go. All of my memories are lost and it really... really sucks." I explain. Shinsou looks down at the ground in between his legs, thinking of what to say. We stay in silence for a minute.
"So you don't remember anything at all? Not even your parents?" He sounded a little sad in between his curiosity. Sympathy. Not something I expected from him at all.
"God I wish. That would make this whole situation easier in a lot of ways." I chuckle.
Not having any of my old memories at all made me feel so different. Everybody is able to develop a sense of personality thanks to their memories, things they've experienced, things that make them themselves, but I have nothing to go off right now.
"I guess all these new people around me just overwhelm me. It is really hard to process all of this, ya know?" I tell him. He nods and I stand up, ending our conversation. He does the same. "I should go study a little. Mr. Aizawa is constantly reminding me of how behind I am!" We both let off a big laugh before we wave goodbye and I head into my dorm.
I'm true to my word and head straight for my bookshelf to study, but I grab some history books. If I can't have my memories, maybe there's a way I can see the past in a different way. I grab the one labeled "The Future Uprising". Apparently it was an autobiography by one of the first few humans to have quirks. He talks about how nobody believed him at first and how slowly one by one all kinds of different quirks started popping up as the population thrived. It was actually a quite inspiring, up until the point where he becomes a villain with a strong disbelief in how society handled super humans. I had to stop reading, just considering being in this school it felt wrong to even read about a villain.
I stood up, walking away from my desk to go get another book when my phone rings. I look down at my screen, seeing that the notification came from my messenger app.
You have been requested to join the group chat: 📚Class 1A📚
Accept: |☑️| Decline: |🚫|
I ponder at the screen for a pretty long time. This could've also been why Todoroki wanted my number last night, if he wasn't in with the bet, but I didn't even know we had a group chat. If I did, making the first impression over text rather than punching a classmate would've been a much better deal. Eventually I decide to click accept. What could go wrong, I thought.

🌟Anna🌟: idk 😬
🥦Izuku🥦: Huh? That's weird. He almost never leaves without saying goodbye.

I look up from my phone, startled after hearing a very loud knock on my door. I turn my phone off, disconnecting from the server and slowly head towards my door , then open it.
I'm surprised by who I see on the other side.
"You can't seriously think you're a real part of my class!" The half and half boy yells, practically barging his way into my dorm room, taking a seat on my bed.
"Ummmm, yes I can! I have every right to, especially considering how well I did on the first test compared to the rest of your 'real classmates'!!" I make it a point to show those air quotes pretty drastically. Those words really hurt me. It makes it sound like I'm not even a real person to him. "Plus, where did this come from?!"
"You joined the group chat..." he says, changing his attitude with me to more of a calm-annoyed sense.
"So? It's just a group chat, Todoroki." He looks up at me very angrily, and slowly stands up.
"That group chat is for my class," he starts walking towards me, causing me to walk backwards. "In my school." I hit the wall behind me, not being able to back up any further. "THOSE ARE MY ONLY FRIENDS GODAMMIT!!!" He yells slamming one of his hands up above my head. My eyes start to fill with tears, but are stopped when I hear my door creak open. Suddenly a force tackles Todoroki to the ground, getting him off of me. I look down to see them both standing up, grabbing onto their knees for support.
"Get out of here, NOW!" The green haired boy growls in his face, letting Todoroki run away.
