Chapter 37

Author's Note:  Before anyone else gets confuse.. This chapter includes flashbacks. This chapter explains what happened six years ago, Before Sophia went to New York.

"Siya padin diba? It was still him all along huh? I'm still in the sidelines." Clynton

It was always you, Clynton. I'm lying in my bed habang si Clynton ay nasa dulo ng kama ko nakaupo. Tatlong araw na ang nakalipas simula nung pumunta ako sa condo niya. We got into a fight because of the photo that Trisha tweeted.

It hurts. Tatlong araw na akong walang gana at tatlong araw na din ako hindi lumalabas ng kwarto. I haven't been answering Clynton's texts or calls simula ng napag awayan namin ito. It hurts like hell.

All I wanted him to do was to hug me.. but I got his accusations instead. How could he believe something so rubbish? Does he really think that I would still choose Ezekiel after everything that we've been through?

"Talk to me, Sophia." Clynton

Ignoring him is better than talking to him. Ano pa ang dapat pag usapan?

"Baby, please.." Clynton

I felt my tears streaming down my cheeks.. I  hugged my pillow at pilit na pinigil ang mga luha ko. I feel so helpless.. Akala ko masakit na ang nagawa ni Ezekiel sakin but Clynton turning his back on me? Mas masakit iyon. Mas masakit na hindi nya muna ako pinakinggan. His mind is fixed. Kung ano ang nakita nya sa picture na iyon, Iyon na ang nasa isip niya.

"What do you want me to say?" Sophia

"Why did you do it? Why did you kiss him? Why did you lie to me?" Clynton

And here I thought na pag uusapan namin ng mabuti ang nangyari. Akala ko nandito sya para pakinggan na ako pero hindi, Iniisip nya padin na niloko ko talaga siya. He doesn't trust me.

"Do you trust me?" Sophia

"I do, Baby. I want to understand you but I can't.. Enlighten me.." Clynton

Hearing him say that made me feel frustrated.. I feel weak..

"Do you honestly think I would cheat on you?" Sophia

He looked at me and didn't say anything. It strucked me down. Yun nga ang iniisip nya. Naiisip nya talagang magagawa ko iyon sakaniya.

"Get out." Sophia

"No." Clynton

"Get out!" Sophia

I couldn't look at him, I couldn't say anything. Kung sa isang picture lamang ay naniniwala na siya, There's zero chances that he would actually listen to me.. Hindi din siya maniniwala sa totoong nangyari. He doesn't trust me enough.. No, he doesn't love me enough to believe me..

"You want to runaway from our problem than answering my questions? That's what you're good at! Dyan ka magaling, sa pag iwan sa'kin. When will you fight for me? Lagi nalang ba kitang hahabulin pag hindi tayo nag kakaintindihan?" Clynton

"Then get out and leave! I didn't ask you to chase me around like a fucking puppy!" Sophia

Napaawang bibig si Clynton ng sabihin ko ito at mukhang nagulat siya dahil sakin nang galing ang mga salitang ito.

"I love you, Sophia Kate. I'll go through hell and back for you." Clynton

You don't love me, Clynton. If you really love me, You would see that I'm hurt! Kung mahal mo ko, hindi ka maniniwala sa mga nakikita mo! You would atleast ask me if I'm okay! But you didn't! Naniwala ka na sa nakita mo. You did not bother to hear the truth.
