MIN LEELA// Stray Kids 9th Member

* Getting Put in Stray Kids *

   (This is the continuation to the last chapter when Leela gets added into Stray Kids. I hope you guys will enjoy it)!

   Today was the day of the showcase. The showcase that will decide which group will debut and go through the survival show. Girls 2 Team was performing before the Boys Project Team. For the performance, Leela wore the same outfit like in her rehearsal. A black blouse (A.N, the blouse is the photo above), a yellow and black plaid skirt, black heeled Mary Jane shoes, and white socks.

   Before that performance though, her, Yeji, Chaeryeong, Sunmin, and Ryujin performed a dance. Leela wore black shorts, a black tank top, black knee high socks, and black and white Converse. Outfits she was uncomfortable with. Leela pushed her thoughts aside. She wanted this performance to go so well. This was their debut on their hands.

   The Boys Project Team were performing next. The girls watched as they performed. Leela never really knew them. She's seen them a few times but never really spoke to them as she was always put with the girls. She wanted to get to know them. She heard that two members were Australian but she didn't know for sure.

   "Wow! They're so cool!" Leela exclaimed! Concepts like this was what she liked the most. The outfits they were wearing was her style. Leela never had skirts in her closet. She had shorts for pajamas but never shorts that Kpop girl groups would wear.

   After the showcase, all the performers lined up and waited for JYP to give them the news about who will debut. Leela was practically shaking at this point. She watched and listened as JYP gave compliments to the boys. Leela was proud of them since they worked hard.

   Then, JYP looked at Girls 2 Team. Three of them stood out the most to him. Chaeryeong, Yeji, and Leela. "Leela. You completely made the stage like your own. Like you were meant to be on there. You completely took over the whole thing and you were remarkable!" JYP said. Leela smiled brightly. "Thank you so much." Leela said bowing in respect.

   Then, it was finally time for the results. "The next group to debut in JYP is, the Boys Project Team." JYP said. Leela's heart sunk. She wasn't gonna debut. She gave a small smile and looked at the boys and applauded them. They were definitely deserving of it. Leela would most likely get to debut but probably later on. It could be years before they decide to debut her.

   Everyone left the stage after the results were announced. The boys however, were discussing something with JYP. One of the girls in Girls 2 Team caught their eyes. "Chan what are you saying?" JYP asked. "I want to put one of the girls in this group." Chan, the leader of the group said. "But why?" JYP asked. "I wanna create a group that could inspire others and change people's thoughts about co-ed groups. We could be the very first co-ed group that you could have if you let me put a girl in this group." Chan answered. He put together Boys Project Team. He picked the members and he was about to do it again.

   JYP looked up in thought. "Ok. That's fine. You have my permission to. Which girl are you thinking of adding?" JYP asked. "Leela." Chan answered. JYP nodded. "She is incredibly talented. You made a good choice." He said.

   Meanwhile, Leela was in the bathroom wiping her eyes. She had been crying. She was so afraid that she wouldn't ever debut. Then, she heard a knock on the door. "I'll be right out!" Leela yelled, fixing herself up before walking out. It was Chaeryeong that knocked. "Hi Chaeryeong eonni." Leela said. "JYP wants to talk to you." Chaeryeong said. Leela was instantly nervous. "I'm sure it's nothing bad. He's still on the stage." Chaeryeong said patting her shoulder in comfort.

   Leela made her way to the stage and saw JYP and the Boys Project Team. "You wanted to speak to me?" Leela asked, her voice laced with nervousness. She was confused as to why the boys were there. "I know how much you want to debut. So I wanted to offer you something. Chan, would you mind explaining?" JYP asked one of the boys.

   "Hi Leela. I'm Bang Chan. The leader of this group. So, the whole time you started performing, I thought you were amazing. You really do deserve to debut so I went to JYP to ask him if I could do this. He accepted so now I want to ask you something. Would you like to join our group?" Chan asked. Leela could not believe her ears. Was this serious? Was she dreaming? "Are you serious? Is this real?" Leela asked. "It is real Leela. We are not joking." JYP said.

   If Leela joined the group, this group would be JYP Entertainment's first ever co-ed group. "Yes! I'll join this group!" Leela answered. Chan smiled brightly at the young girl. "In that case, welcome to the group Leela! These are the members. Woojin, Minho, Changbin, Hyunjin, Jisung, Felix, Seungmin, and Jeongin." Chan said pointing to the boys as they smiled and waved at her.

   "It's nice to meet you all! Let's get to know each other now that we're members." Leela said to them. They giggled and agreed with her. "How old are you?" One of the members asked. Jeongin. "I'm 13. I'm a 2004 liner." Leela answered. "Yay! I'm not the youngest anymore!" He exclaimed, earning laughs and giggles from the boys and Leela.

   Leela went to tell the girls that she will be leaving the group and joining the boys. They gave her support and wished her good luck and said they will cheer for her when she debuts. Leela was finally gonna debut. And she was finally not gonna be uncomfortable anymore.
