Teamwork ( Chicago Pd One Shots )

"Officer down, I repeat: Officer down! We need an ambulance to my latest location now!" Kim yelled in the radio.

"Kim who is shot?" Voight asked through the radio

"Hailey is. Kevin caught our suspect but she couldn't get out of the way in time."

Jay froze after he heard kim say that it was hailey who was shot.
He was worried,
Extremely worried!
He looked at adam who was sitting besides him in the car. He was talking to the ambulance through his radio.

After a minute or two, the ambulance arrived

Jay hasn't talked after he saw hailey laying there. When he saw her, he felt sick to his stomach because of how worried he was.
His biggest nightmare just came treu. When he looked at hailey he saw her skin colour pale but also kinda grey. He snapped out if his thoughts when her heard the paramedics say something.

Paramedics: We got a roll! Who's coming with her?

Voight looked at Kim, but she looked at Jay.

Everyone at the district was very close to eachother, as friends, but kim was the closest to everyone. She noticed every time something was wrong with someone or if someone had something on their mind.

(Ofcourse she was the most closest with Adam, but that's because they're in love with eachother.)

They could tell her anything. Their secrets were safe with her. So when Jay started to catch feelings for hailey, she was the first one to know. And ofcourse, she never told anyone.

She knew Jay wanted to go with hailey so she looked at him and said:
"Go, we will follow in the cars."
He gave her a look that said: 'thank you.' And jumped in the ambulance.

Some hours later:
hailey got out of a successful surgery, they caught the man that shot her and everyone had visited her except for Jay.

He walks into her hospital room
"Hey hails."

"Hey."

"How do you feel?" He asked her.

"Sore, but at least I'm alive." She said while smiling a little.

Jay knew she needed to know the truth and sat on the side of her hospital bed, she let her head rest on his shoulder while he strokes her hair.

They looked in eachother eyes and stared at eachother for a fare while.
Suddenly, he leaned forward and kissed her. He expected her to pull away and yell at him why he would do that, but she kissed back.
They broke apart and looked at eachother, before kissing again.

"Hailey, I've had feelings for you for a while now."

"Me too."

"Did you tell anyone?" He asked her

"Yeah only Kim..."

"Same." He smiled

"She sure can keep a secret." She chuckled. "Because I didn't knew anything."

"Same with me."

They looked at eachother and kissed again. They knew they were made for eachother and let nobody get in their way.
