Teamwork ( Chicago Pd One Shots )

"Ugh we've got maths." Hailey whines as she and Jay walk through hallways to their classroom.

"I thought you liked maths?!" Jay responded surprised.

"I do, it's just that stupid teacher. He's so boring and annoying. You only have to cough or you'll get detention!" She said annoyed

"Tell me about it..." They continued walking as they saw Kim and walked over to her.

"Hey heyyy- woah what happened to your eye? It's a bit swollen." Hailey said as she carefully and gently looked at the girls bruised face.

"Yeah iknow." She responded, but avoided answering the question.

"You got in a fight again, didn't you?" Jay answered the question for her.

Hailey sighs "I knew it..."
"Then why'd you ask?" Kim asked and smirked
"Because... oh just forget it." She said and they walked to maths

After maths they had history, and after that science.
When recess came they went outside, and everything was going well.
They went back to their English class after recess and waited for 10 minutes but the teacher wouldn't show up.

"Why do you think she's not showing up?" Hailey asked

"She's had enough of Jay's face, honestly, I dont blame her." Kim answered sarcastically and hailey laughed

"Your serious- I'm sitting behind you! I could hear that"

Kim turned to him "no shit dumbass!"

"Are you ever gonna be nice to me?!"

"I might, but that'll be in your dreams." She said as the whole class got a text.

Kim was the only one with her sound on (like normally) she looked at what it said, got up, grabbed her stuff and a heavy book, walked to the front of the class and dropped it onto the table wich got everyone's attention in .1 seconds.

"We just got a text from the principal, we're free for the rest of the day. Miss Logan is sick and we would've had her for the rest of the day but now we don't so we get to go.
And that's exactly what imma do because I'm not staying here a second longer. So Jay and hails, grab ur stuff and we're out of here!"

Hailey chuckled as they and the rest of the class grabbed their stuff and left. Jay and Hailey had to go with the bus this morning but now they could ride with Kim.
When they were walking back into the hallway Hailey spoke up

"Kim, any chance we get to sleep over at yours tonight? I really don't feel like staying home tonight."

"Why?"

"Because our parents will give us all kinds of chores to do because we're home early. I'll tell them we have a project that we have to work on at yours?" Jay filled her in

"Yeah ofcourse." They've gotten to Kim's car by now and they got in, went home and stayed up to 3.45 am watching Netflix because they wanted to.

And just to clear out, Jay and Kim can be nice to eachother, but only if they want to😌
