The only thing that occupied Raven's mind was the thought of being pregnant with (Y/N)'s child and being in his arms once again. This was the happiest she had ever been. Now, all she had to do was convince him to stay.

She wanted to get out of bed and start making breakfast for the two of them, but the sleeping (Y/N) had a firm grip on her, which she didn't mind. Once she saw the sunlight seeping into the tent, she knew she would have to wake him up. She gently removed his arms from her, awakening him. He looked around as if he didn't know where he was, but when his eyes landed on Raven's face he gave her a slight smile.

"Morning." He told her.

"Morning." Raven said back. She gave (Y/N) a kiss before removing herself from the bed.

"Where are you going?" He asked almost disappointed.

"The tribe will worry if I'm not out soon. But I have time to grab us some breakfast if you want some."

"Sure." (Y/N) says.

After Raven leaves the tent, (Y/N) mentally punches himself for allowing his guard to break as easily as it did the previous night. He'd be lying to himself if he said he didn't enjoy being with Raven again, and the thought of her being pregnant made him feel a warmth inside he hadn't felt in years. But now he couldn't leave without the guilty thought of leaving his child in this camp. Maybe... Maybe Raven got her tubes tied. (Y/N) thought. There was still some hope that he hadn't impregnated Raven.

After (Y/N) finished dressing himself, Raven entered the tent carrying two trays of food. "And here I thought I would give you breakfast in bed." Raven chuckled.

"I appreciate the thought." (Y/N) said, taking one tray from her hands. "But I'm not one to lie in bed all day." They both sit down and enjoy their meal, but the conversation that would take place afterwards lingered on (Y/N)'s mind.

"Hey, Raven." (Y/N) says to get her attention. Raven looks up from her breakfast and looks at him. "Did you ever get your tubes tied?"

As if she was expecting this question, Raven set her empty tray aside and folded her hands in her lap. "No." She looked down at her hands as if she's ashamed. "I probably got pregnant from last night. I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking. I understand if you're angry."

In truth, (Y/N) was anything but angered. He could've pulled out if he wanted to. "I'm not." He assures, making Raven smile.

"What are you going to do?" She asks, looking up at him.

(Y/N) looks down at the floor, thinking. "I don't know, Raven. I want to stay with you, but I've been on the road for so long, I don't know if I could. Every second I'm here feels unnatural. And no offense, but I've seen how the people here operate. If you really are pregnant, then our child can't stay here."

Raven gives him a look of empathy. "I understand." She says, surprising (Y/N). "I was thinking the same thing, and I prepared for this." She leans forward and places her hands on top of (Y/N)'s and gives them a squeeze. "I'll follow you wherever you go." She says, surprising (Y/N) once again.

(Y/N) thinks for a moment before talking again. "What about everyone here? Won't they have a problem if you leave?"

"Probably, but eventually someone's going to step up. If not, then the tribe will probably kill each other off." She says in a sad tone.

"And the Spring Maiden?"

"She has a name, you know." Raven says. "If you allow it, we can take her with us. But it's your call."

(Y/N) removes his hands from Raven's and stands from his seat. "Let's wait and see. It will be a bit before you show signs of pregnancy. There's still a chance you're not pregnant, so this entire conversation could be meaningless." He says, slightly hurting Raven. "If push comes to shove, we can go to the apartment I have. Though, it's probably filled to the brim with dust."
