Chapter 10

Sehun's POV

As I woke up in the morning I felt something was odd that I couldn't pinpoint what it is. Even in school, my mind is floating like a lost thought and that was when I decided to skip school for the 3rd time this week and for the 1st without saying anything to my friends.

There's this place that really makes me feel at ease. A place that was above and behind the school's ground that you could clearly see the school's perfect view. The sun and the city. It's so refreshing to look at and so peaceful. The birds singing behind the trees, the refreshing air that perfectly completes this place.

How I wish I could have someone with me here to spend the day...

"Oh Sehun!" Someone shouted, slowly making it's way to my direction. There, I saw a small guy with a puppy face like smiling up to me. Great. Just great. Scratch the sarcasm there.

I let out a small hiss and face him as I cross my hands in my chest "What the hell are you doing here, Byun?"

He only roll his eyes and sat down beside me looking at the view in front of us "You. What are you doing here? Your friends are worried about you, you know that?" As he look at me deeply in the eyes showing various emotions. This is uncomfortable if you ask me.

I cleared my throat first before I speak "I don't feel like going to school." I simply replied as I lay down on the grass.

He only smile and nodded and before I know it he shouted something I didn't catch.

"What was that all about?"

"So what? No one can hear us anyway." He lay beside me and look at me in the eyes again. I averted his intense eye contact and awkwardly turned my gaze at the sky above.

Wtf is this

"Hey Sehun?"

I only hum as a response knowing he's still looking.

"Thanks" I look at him, regretting that I did. Shit.

"For what?"

He smile again genuinely and tap my shoulder. I shivered at the sudden touch "For showing me this place. Ever since you introduce this place I found myself coming back again and again that made me feel at ease as I can run away from the problems for a while. So thank you." Sincerity in his voice.

I was left speechless as those words slip his mouth. I didn't know he felt that way whenever we go here.

"Err idk...you're welcome?" I said hesitantly.

He turned his back at me and let out a soft giggle. I did the some though but without the giggle of course.

It was a comfortable silence looking at the peaceful place surrounding us, the cool breeze of the air, birds being a melody in our ears. This day wasn't that bad as I thought.

"Thanks for the ride." He made his way outside the car, smiling again. Could he stop smiling already?

"I have no choice you keep on bugging me to take you home." I said annoyed but actually just joking.

"I skipped school just to find you and this is how you'll repay me?" And pout. He did what now?

"You skipped school? Just to be with me?" A suspicious smirk form in my lips. I saw him awkwardly smile as small crept of pink begun to show in his face.

"T-that's not what I meant! I-aish, nevermind." He was about to go inside when I said the words.

"Don't worry Byun, it will be a secret from the both of us." Without thinking, surprisingly I wink at him before I left him dumbfounded with what I just said.
