Third Person's POV

Shit, I'm so dead!

Byun Baekhyun cursed under his breath as he sprinted through the school hallway, his bag slapping against his side with every hurried step. He was late-again. His legs burned, his lungs ached, and his mind screamed at him to run faster. He knew the teacher's scolding was inevitable, but it didn't stop him from trying.

Standing at 5'9, Baekhyun wasn't the tallest guy in school, but he stood out in other ways. Known as the "Pretty Boy" of the campus, he had a face that could rival celebrities-a radiant smile, plump pink lips, and eyes that sparkled with warmth. But his beauty wasn't his only gift; Baekhyun had a voice that could stop anyone in their tracks, soft and melodic like a lullaby.

It wasn't just his good looks and talents that made him special. Baekhyun came from a legacy. His mother was a legendary songwriter for SM Entertainment, the country's most prestigious idol agency. Her songs dominated the charts in her prime, and Baekhyun hoped to one day live up to her name-not as a songwriter, but as a singer.

Bursting into the classroom, he felt the weight of dozens of stares on him. His cheeks flared with embarrassment as he forced a smile and shuffled to his seat.

Why does everyone have to stare? Stop making me feel like such a fool.

He settled into his seat, pretending not to notice. But then, out of the corner of his eye, he caught his gaze. A familiar smirk curled at the edge of Oh Sehun's lips.

Did he just smirk?! Oh my God, he's smirking, isn't he? Please, don't make me your victim this time.

---

Baekhyun's prayers went unheard. Two months later, he found himself at the mercy of Oh Sehun's childish antics.

Sehun had made Baekhyun his new favorite target. From ridiculous pranks to treating him like a personal servant, Sehun left no stone unturned when it came to tormenting him. Baekhyun wanted to fight back-he really did-but standing up to Sehun usually ended with bruises to the ego or worse.

---

Cafeteria

"Hey, Byun!" Sehun's voice boomed across the noisy cafeteria.

Baekhyun sighed, setting his tray down with a loud clatter. "Yes, your highness?!" he called back, sarcasm dripping from his tone.

"Go buy me some bubble tea," Sehun demanded, a mischievous grin spreading across his face.

"And why would I do that?" Baekhyun retorted, folding his arms across his chest. He knew better than to expect a win, but he wasn't about to go down without a fight.

"Because if you don't, I'll break your bones," Sehun replied, his voice calm but threatening enough to make Baekhyun's stomach churn.

With a frustrated groan, Baekhyun slammed his hands on the table and stomped out of the cafeteria, muttering curses under his breath. Just wait, Oh Sehun. One day, I'll wipe that stupid smirk off your face.

At his table, Sehun leaned back and grinned triumphantly.

"Why do you mess with him so much?" Jongdae, also known as Chen, asked as he munched on his sandwich.

Sehun shrugged, taking a bite of his own food. "What's the problem? Do you like him or something?"

"What? No!" Jongdae exclaimed, nearly choking on his sandwich. "I'm just curious. Baekhyun doesn't seem like your usual type to mess with."

Sehun raised an eyebrow, leaning forward. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Jongdae smirked knowingly. "Nothing. I just think you find him... interesting."

Sehun rolled his eyes but didn't bother denying it. "He's fun to mess with. That's all."

"Uh-huh," Jongdae replied, his grin widening. "Sure."

---

He's rich. Why can't he buy his own damn bubble tea? Baekhyun thought bitterly as he walked back toward Sehun's table, drink in hand.

When he arrived, he dropped the bubble tea onto the table with a loud thud. "Here's your stupid bubble tea," he snapped.

"Thank you, Bacon," Sehun said, smirking as he picked up the cup.

"It's Baekhyun, idiot," Baekhyun shot back, glaring at him.

"Baekhyun, Bacon-same thing," Sehun replied nonchalantly, taking a sip of his drink.

"Whatever." Baekhyun turned on his heel and marched back to his table, muttering under his breath. "I hate that guy so much."

"Whoa, easy there, Baek," Xiumin, his best friend, teased, laughing at Baekhyun's fiery expression.

"How can I? He's worse than ever! That jerk. He's going to pay one day," Baekhyun fumed, stabbing at his food with his fork.

Xiumin grinned, but his eyes softened as he patted Baekhyun's shoulder. "Alright, don't explode. Save your energy for plotting your revenge."

"Where are Suho hyung and Kyungsoo?" Baekhyun asked, his tone still sharp.

"Haven't seen them since third period," Xiumin replied with a shrug before shoving another bite of food into his mouth.

Baekhyun frowned. That's strange. They never skip class. Something's up.
