An ease and ridicule smile appeared once again on Muzan's beguiling face. A dire glint was highlighted through the pools of his eyes but there was no trace of emotion lingering on his orbits.

Y/n firmly looked at him. She thought the man could be in the mood to make her play some guessing games as she was battling to seek an answer that she also wanted to respond to him. Muzan's extraneous questions were racking her brain out.

It made her lose the words might just as well she planned to leave it disregarded but there was also a part of her that was bugging her mind to know more about it.

And she thinks all that she needs is to ask then Muzan can provide that relevant information.

"Have you seen this ancestor of the demons before?" She softly asked him. Muzan's comical smile vanished and is replaced by something else a little more solemn.

His limp and looking bored eyes lazily gaze at Y/n.

"You ignored my inquiry and then you spat back another question to me." His voice icily resounded the close carriage as he crossed his arms on his broad chest.

Y/n slightly frets. Both hands turned cold just the thought that maybe she made a misstep and have angered him accidentally.

"I'm sorry if I--"

"Oh, no it is fine," He interjected and slowly waved his hand. There was a sudden relief that have vented out from the chest of the Mizuno woman whilst she deeply sighed.

Muzan noticed this uneasiness that Y/n have felt towards him, making him turn grim than he was feeling earlier.

"I haven't seen him." He uninterestedly answered. His mendacious words made y/n falsely believe what he have said.

"But my instincts tell me that someday that venerable supreme demon will soon subjugate the world of the humans and will spare no one." He added and on another point, Y/n's face wrinkled and her brows knitted in disapproval.

"I am afraid to tell you this but I disagree with what you have stated." She shook her head and look how Muzan could also glance back at her in bemusement.

"Care to tell me why?" He says with a haughty tone.

"Humans should not be underestimated. Some of them may be a pig-headed, selfish, knave, addressed them with all of the insults you can tell. But one thing that humans commonly possesses is their nature to love unconditionally." She explains with no rush needed, meanwhile Muzan was still feeling disdained.

He expressed a 'tsk' interjection and indignantly looked at the mortal woman.

"Is that suppose to convince me?" His face remains cavalier whilst his behaviour shows mellowness but the sound of his voice indicates he was willing to start an argument with her.

"Your way of persuasion cannot sway me at all, we have a different point of view and it saddened me that you are looking at the wrong concept." He let out an airy sneer but before Y/N could utter another remark, Muzan made certain she cannot interrupt him.

"Humans are traitorous, cowards,  weaklings and are condemned to die."

"They are the most pathetic, hypocritical and wretch creatures that I would prefer to wipe all of their existence in a fraction of a second." He impulsively said without even thinking how the woman, sitting in front of him would react to his vented sharp words.

His tone was altering from the calm control yet slipping with intense anger just behind his red dangerous eyes. What he has thoroughly said have hit Y/n straight to her heart.
